Everyone is selfish
In this soulless world
Where money, and the rich,
Watch the growing mould.
Beneath their feet it lies.
Waiting for the moment it dies.
It was happy once, when it took a chance,
And found romance.
But love, like many things
Does not last,
Unlike golden wedding rings
Full of promises from the past.
This world is full of sheep,
Who look away, and eat away.
Ignoring the pain of those who claw
To survive.
For they know not,
Like mindless cells,
The hardships that occur
Ocean Deep.
