Illuminated in infancy's delights
Laughter dances in starless nights

With someone to care
The boogeyman learns to spare

And the loved ones sing a song
That they wished for for so long

The lamenting parents look on
For the children that will grow
And leave them behind like the toys on the lawn

There's a Turkish delight
Sweet and sour like starkest night

A semblance to the tears
That tear the laughter in your ears

For the passion hidden inside a heart
is the hardest maze; a piece of art

In times of bizarreness
It'll be the only thing that's harmless

It'll hold a hand
It'll dig you out of the soaking sand

It'll tuck you in bed with a smile
And be with you till the last mile

For a thousand years in your memory
The everlasting crown in your treasury

It'll be the sword of the mightiest knight
Your friend forever; oh infancy's delight.
