Silent whispers echoed,
Hustles bellowed
And secrets shouted.Eyes watched from nooks and crooks,
And from above books.Staring intently,
Looking for something
Not so diligently.He watched her as she walked.
Watched her smile
And dine;
Watched her laugh,
White teeth glinting like jewels,
Throw her head back
Hair flowing like a river;
She never followed the rules.Irresistible is what she was
Stepping into the bus.Her eyes never lifting,
Smile never drifting,
Forever listening
To the lyrics- nibbling
Her bottom lip, glisteningLike the sun.
Brown eyes so dark
The colour of bark,
Sharp like a dart.Never too serious
Yet, still mysterious.
