Darkened skies hold my dreams
in long distant seamsHowling a song
Highlighted by neon beamsAs moonlit grass cuts my fingers
Soft morning frost lingers
On the tips
That green blade pricksMy feet are loud
Calling to every hiding houndBut my wings broke free.
I'm on a running spreeTo the up high
Where adventure is nighThe stars though clandestine
Glitter like a goldmineIn tones of white and blue
They break cracks impossible to glueSo I squeeze through
With no clueTo what's next
I can only hope for the bestBut it's time—
This darkened night is sublimeBefore the morning light hits
I'll follow my heart beats
