#46 Adventure Time Is Nigh

Darkened skies hold my dreams
in long distant seams

Howling a song
Highlighted by neon beams

As moonlit grass cuts my fingers
Soft morning frost lingers
On the tips
That green blade pricks

My feet are loud
Calling to every hiding hound

But my wings broke free.
I'm on a running spree

To the up high
Where adventure is nigh

The stars though clandestine
Glitter like a goldmine

In tones of white and blue
They break cracks impossible to glue

So I squeeze through
With no clue

To what's next
I can only hope for the best

But it's time—
This darkened night is sublime

Before the morning light hits
I'll follow my heart beats
