My word for 2018 was Hope

from Romans 12:12.

Be joyful in Hope,

patient in affiction,

and faithful in prayer.

I had a lot of hope and affliction,

but I had very little joy.

No matter how much I prayed.

I am still sad, impatient, and erractic.

I need a new word.

I may choose Light

from John 1:5.

The light shines in the darkness,

and the darkness does not overcome it.
