My first thought when I heard someone scream was how familiar that voice was. But after one second of looking around, I noticed it came from a certain couple in the corner of the room, and I inmediately knew what it was about.

Juniper was in labour.

I moved pass everyone and I reached them in a matter of seconds. However, when I got there, it was already happening.

Supposedly, when you are pregnant and about to have your baby, the mother usually recognises when her water breaks. I know for a fact that most of them think they peed themselves or just state that they're wet. And when that happens, it usually takes hours, sometimes almost a day, before the mother goes into labour.

However, something was wrong here.

Juniper was bleeding directly, which meant one or two things: she was having the baby like right now or, unfortunately, she may have lost it. Let's hope it's not the latter.

I helped the future mom sit down on the floor, and told her to trust me.

"Juniper, everything is going to be okay. You are going through labour now", I stated as calmly as possible, but she kept on screaming in pain.

"I-I tho.. ahh, I thought it would take hours?", she asked while breathing heavily. A thin layer of sweat covered her face by now, and I could practically feel waves of pain radiating of her. This was one of those moments when I realised that, if men could get pregnant, we would probably die. Women are much experienced in this type of pain, I read to much about that in articles.

"This happens sometimes, do not worry. Someone was sent to call Apollo, but I think your baby is coming right now. I need you to trust me, okay? I am a close friend from Grover and I am going to help you through this", I informed her, and she just nodded. People were moving frantically around by now. The few Apollo kids here were looking for medicines, any type of drug that could help, and I could tell that none of them had ever delivered a baby.

To be honest, I haven't, too. But I wanted to help, and I think I have read enough information that I was able of doing it.

Thalia held Juniper's right hand, while Rachel was on her other side soothing comforting words at her. Annabeth and a few others were trying to wake up Grover, while more campers grabbed table cloths to use them as blankets, and some others brought as much water as possible. There was a huge crowd gathered around us, and Evie tried to keep them a fair distance away, giving Juniper as much privacy as possible.

Rachel nodded in my direction, and I hesitantly raised the cloth covering my best friend's girlfriend core. As a matter of fact, there was a pool of blood there, and a small bulge was showing through her dilatation. My eyes went wide as I realised what it was.

"I can see its head!", I exclaimed loudly and, in perfect timing, Grover woke up. He walked towards Juniper and apologized, while I grabbed as much clothes as possible to try and minimize the blood. I covered both my hands in one clothe, and started giving instructions.

"Okay, Juniper, listen carefully. I am going to need you to take a few breaths, and push with all your might to the count of three, okay?", I asked, and she nodded as she could. "One, two.. three! Now!"

I heard her scream in agony and, effectively, the baby's head was almost completely out of her body. The small creature couldn't move yet because of the fact that most of his body was still inside it's mothers vagina, and for a moment I freaked out, wondering how much time he could spend like that before running out of air. "Great! You are doing excellent! Just a few more pushs, and it will be over"
