Mrs. Dodds had just left, so I went to meet up with my friends at the entrance of Nyx's palace. I didn't own a lot of things, so my backpack barely had anything inside.

I was wearing my assasins outfit: black ripped jeans along with combat boots, a long-sleeve black shirt that hugged my muscles and a cloak that reached my forehead, the rest of my face visible. The zone around my eyes was painted with mud as usual, giving the shape of a mask. A belt armed with weapons such as hunting knives and a few guns rested low on my hips. Riptide was in my pocket as usual, and a copy of it called Nova was hidden in my left boot.

Every once in a while, my father would send us in missions so that we wouldn't get bored in Tartarus, obviously setting an amount of time to accomplish it. Most of them were about exterminating monsters or non-human beings that were considered a threat. Eventually, we started taking missions into habitable planets, getting to know the Universe and its habitants.

If you asked anyone out there who the 'φονιάς' (Foniás) were, they would tell you they were either a gang, a group of slayers, or Chaos' personal assasins. People knew we only took care of the bad guys, but they still feared us.

I got there in a matter of minutes and realised my friends were already there. We were all wearing the same outfit, except the girls had on black sports bra instead of long-sleeves shirt, which I still disaproove since they attract a lot of male attention.

Nyx, Erebus, Aether and my mother were awaiting with them. Once they noticed me approaching, Aether clapped his hands and a huge grin made its way onto his lips.

"Great! Now that my baby brother here decided to finally appear, you can leave!", Aether exclaimed. I rolled my eyes at his immature behaviour and turned to my mother.

Out of nowhere, she created various credit cards, saying that money would be essential to pay for our hotels, meals, activities, and that they didn't have a limit. She also gave us a few dollars and drachmas, just in case.

Nyx gave us a first aid kit which include nectar and ambrosia, among other things like vandages and potions for some types of poisons.

Aether gave me a small device which, once I opened, a holographic map appeared in the air. He explained to me that this way they would be able to know where we are, and that we could see which places we would want to visit like this. He also told me that he would cover us in case that we needed to take a plane for our destination, so that Zeus wouldn't find out I escaped and that my friends existed.

Last but not least, Erebus gave us phones. He told us that we needed to be more connected to the technological world, and that by using them we could search different things to do wherever we were. He also informed us that monsters would not be able to track us, so we wouldn't have to worry.

After we said our goodbyes, we parted and started walking towards the doors of the death.

"Last time I used the doors, I appeared in the House of Hades, in Greece. So we will probably start from there", I informed the others. My friends knew everything about my past life and what they did to me, so I didn't bother in hiding them anything.

"Right, but.. How are we going to do it? I mean, someone has to stay to press the button for twelve minutes, right?", Alec asked.

"Yes, but I suppose the doors have a guardian. And with the reputation we have down here, there's no doubt that he will press the button for us", Evie joked. I chuckled a bit at her statement. It's true, the monsters do fear us.
