I'm surprised my hood stayed on for the whole ride, it's as if its glued on. The ride to the academy was quite scary but nevertheless fun. Neo did tons of twirl in the air and if it wasn't for Austin holding my waist in place, I would have flew off.

The journey wasn't a short one, maybe almost half an hour. My legs were cramping so badly and all I wanted to do was shut my legs together. As we fly through a cloud, a huge, tall statue of dragon came into view. My mouth gape open in awe; the Academy is humongous, and its stretched so wide open it looks like it never really end.

" Welcome to Dragons Academy, little girl." Neo rumbled, his eyes meeting mine with a hint of twinkle. From above, the people on land looks like tiny little ants. Pulling down my hood, Neo spirals down like a huge beast and landed on the grass beside Damon and the green eyed guy; i've yet to know his name.

Austin hopped down first and he put out his hands for me to grab which I gratefully take since I know I would plummet to death on grass which is embarrassing. The remaining dragon landed and some roared in the air as they spiral down.

" See you around, Arabella." Damon said before taking off, his wings caused me to stagger back because of the wind.

" Follow me, Arabella. Oh and by the way, I'm Gabriel." He gestured for me to follow him, which I assumed was to the hall where all of us new students gather.

Letting my eyes wander around, I take in the tall, high rise ceilings made of grey stones. The windows were very ancient looking, some vines hanging from the very top of the building. There were some rose bushes too, framing the perimeter of the Academy.

Some riders were hanging around, clad in what looks like their uniform; vest and leather pants. They were all colour coordinated, ranging from red, blue, purple and even orange. Perhaps theres even more colours. The riders were mostly guys, there were a couple of female riders as well; some of them are welcoming, some of them aren't.

We walked up a huge stairs that spirals up, dark red carpet prevented our shoes from making a sound on the wood. The banister were very shiny, you can almost see your own reflection in it. After about two flights of stairs, and turns and turns in the hallway, we finally reached a huge double door thats wide open for us to enter.

The hall is filled with red chairs facing the podium. Austin and Gabriel told me to sit at the first row since my name starts with the letter 'A'. My eyes trained perfectly still on the gold podium, a man standing behind it. As I scrutinised him, his eyes is a weird shade of gold, his jaw is sharp and tense. He has to be around six feet four with a built of a giant. Around us stood the riders, they were all standing around us and waiting for this man to begin.

" Welcome younglings to Dragon's Academy, I am Sir Keran, the principle of this Academy. You are chosen to participate in this trial to shape you into a warrior and a Dragon Rider. Whoever wins the trial will stay, whoever loses will work for us. You will be judged base on your ability to control, communicate and fight with a dragon and a warrior. I wish you all the best in this trial. Thank you." His eyes swept across the crowd and eventually landed on me. His eyebrows scrunch in as if he is thinking, then he shakes his head and left the stage.
