Its pouring rain. The cold bits of the frosty cold wind bites at my fingers that was laying limp by my side. Droplets of bullet-like rain pierced my body from head to toe like shards of ice as I fluttered my eyes open. A deafening crack rattled the air and blinding flash of the lightning blinded my vision, sending tremors down my body as I hunched forward, feeling bile rising up my throat like acid.

It suddenly occurs to me that I was standing by a cliff where I could see canopies of tree spread across the land and houses the sized of ants from above.

" Where is it?" A voice boomed, filled with nothing but fury and it sent chills up my cold, shivering frame. Whipping back as fast as I could, my breath caught in my throat as I faced a tall man with his back to me and a very familiar looking person cowering back from him.

My feet stayed rooted on the ground; it was as if there's an invisible thread coiled around my feet, preventing me from moving. The woman cowered further into the forest, her stark silver hair whipped around her bloodied yet beautiful face. She held a pair of shiny blade in her shaking hands and it was clear that she does not have anymore energy left to fight the large figure facing her.

It didn't help with the fact that it was raining cats and dogs, and the cold started to seep into her bones as her limbs shook. My eyes widened as the realisation dawned on me— Athelesia, my mother.

"Go to hell, Dionysus," Athelesia spat, her words filled with venom as her eyes flashes dangerously. Even though she was shaking from the cold, I couldn't deny the fact that she still have fire burning in her, powerful aura radiating off from her.

" Give up already sweet Athelesia, Chad is already as good as dead and you have nothing else to look forward to but the body of the man you loved," Dionysus snapped, his hands clenching in a ball of fist and from where I was standing, I could see little statics of electricity bouncing from fingers to fingers.

Hurt and despair flashed through Athelesia's eyes at the reminder of Chad- my father and my heart clenched in pain as I watch her start to crumble. But all that stopped just as it begins. Before I knew it, she leaped in inhumane speed and pounce onto Dionysus's frame. He was caught off-guard, staggering back as she managed to slice his skin on his left shoulder.

Athelesia growled, her frame shaking in anger as she strike again and again, leaving no space for Dionysus to strike, instead, he had to block most of her hits. The air rippled around us and it suddenly felt deathly cold as I heard the familiar roars of the dragons right behind.

" You're weak Athelesia, you can't protect your mate and what makes you think you can protect the Crystal ball and your precious dragons," He retaliated, snarling as he caught a hold of her silver blade that burned his skin, the smell of skin sizzling wafted up from him.
