A R A B E L L AErebus took long enough for him to emerge from the forest with a sly, angry look before picking me up with his tail to fly me back to the Academy.
" Where were you?" I asked, leaning forward to rest my elbow down on his scaly, obsidian coloured skin.
" Somewhere," He grunted and I rolled my eyes before letting myself enjoy the cold wind from above, nipping onto my fingers.
Erebus then dipped down and a startle scream left my lips. My body is then held against his slightly sharp body and I held onto dear life before he landed smoothly on the green grass.
We're at the back of the Academy's perimeter, where no students were because of the lockdown. Erebus gently curled his tail around my frame and brought me down from his back.
" Stay safe, I'll see you again, Visilissa," Erebus nudged me on my stomach using his huge nose and I giggled before placing my palm on his face.
" Take care, Erebus," I kissed his nose and he let out an indistinguishable purr before flapping his large wings and then disappeared through the smoke he created.
My slightly wet hair cling onto my neck as I jogged back into the Academy. There were pieces of glasses everywhere on the ground, as well as pools of blood but to my relief, there was no dead bodies.
As I hopped in from the shattered window, I watched as some students were being aid, getting their wounds treated from the ground and my heart thundered with a slight fear.
Now, mission to find Austin and the rest.
My boots thudded against the marble flooring and I speed walked towards the hall where students were waiting for Sir Keran's announcement.
The sound of people crying and groaning could be heard as I entered the massive hall. Some students were sitting on the ground, their backs against the wall and some students were sitting on chairs as well as on the stage to get themselves aided . There were still no sight of Madeline and the rest.
Suddenly, someone grabbed my shoulder, twisting me so fast I had to refrain myself from falling on my butt. Dark ocean blue eyes filled with worry stared down at me and I then realised that it was Prince Hades.
" Arabella," He breathlessly spoke and I felt his breath tickle my nose as I frowned, panicking at the way he reacted.
" Yes?" He shook his head and sighed in relief as if he was assured that I was fine and back in one piece.
" Come, Sir Keran and the rest are waiting for you," He let go of my shoulder and led me through the bloodied hallway where some students were getting aid.
My heart clenched painfully as I eyed the students who were injured from the freaking Bilmar. The students; vampire, werewolves or humans, were squirming in pain, trying their best to not appear vulnerable . A low hum vibrated through my chest and I closed my eyes, gently letting out energy of mine to the injured. My fingers tingle and I sighed in relief when I felt the air of students around me felt much better than before.
