It was a hustle to find Madeline and the others because they were actually training behind the Academy in the woods. My curiosity got the best of me as I eyed them from afar.

From where I was standing; which is beside a tree near a garden, I could see Madeline's blonde hair up in a ponytail as she use a bow and arrow. This training was different to my surprise because they usually train in the arena.

Austin was also training but with a crossbow; him and his group of students. The different coloured uniform made it easier for me to pick out Austin's built and tall frame.

Then there's Gabriel, training his group of students on how to use a spear. The spear is long with dark coloured wood and sharp looking blade at the end. Jessabelle is also in Gabriel's group, her light brown hair in two braids down her back.

The other group which was Kane's, was training on battle axe's. I couldn't help but think; why were they training with weapons that were made for battle?

" Ah, there you are," Sir Keran's voice made me whipped my head back and my lips lifted up in a smile as he made his way towards me. His dark cloak trailing after him on the pavement like a pool of liquid.

" Sir Keran," I bowed a little and he waved me off.

" Have you read the letter your parents gave?" He asked, not looking at me but instead, towards Austin's direction. Pursing my lips, I bit the insides of my cheeks before answering.

" Yes," I looked down as if the ground is the most interesting thing in the world.

" And you've known what I am," He said and it sounded more like a statement than a question. Nodding my head, I lifted my gaze up and that's when I spotted the Royal Brother's walking around, watching the training.

" I suppose I think I might know why you're bonded at such a young age," He spoke and I looked up at him, my eyes trailing on his slight stubble.

" Why?"

" You have an Everest's blood. You're the Daughter of the Dragon Protector of Everest Kingdom," He looked down, a small gentle warmth floated in his orbs and I frowned before looking away.

" Sir Keran, I'm just a normal girl from a small town in Mystic Oasis, nothing special ," I muttered and I heard him chuckle deeply.

" Stubborn like your mother I see," He grinned and my heart clenched when he mentioned about my biological mother.

" You knew my mother?" I asked, hope sprinkling in my eyes as I waited for him to speak.

" Walk with me, Princess," He gestured for me to walk and I scowled when he called me a 'Princess'.
