Today is the day; the very day that I dread to the point where I consider to skip this day and just sleep it off but Madeline was constantly bickering, saying that I had nothing to worry about.
I'm currently sitting on my vanity chair wearing my usual training gears; staring into the reflection of my own self. My grey eyes has gotten slightly lighter, filled with happiness but then it seems empty; as if something was plucked out from my soul.
" Stop overthinking, Arabella," I growled lowly to myself and rubbed my face up and down before sighing and hitting my face on the table.
Overthinking is not healthy but I couldn't help it; my results will be released in an hour from now and I am honestly dreading the outcome. Even though I know I had been keeping up with trainings and passed my trials, I know that somewhere in between my trials, I do have mistakes.
A knock on the door made my muscle tense and I sit up straight, wiping off any emotions from my face as I stood up to see who was at the door.
"Austin?" I scrunched my eyebrows and watch as he scratched his neck, his face filled with worry as he looked around the hallway of girls.
" What's wrong?" I pressed on and he sighed before letting himself in and sat on Madeline's bed with his face looking pale.
Something doesn't sit quite right here.
" You better start talking Lowell," I narrowed my eyes and I watch as his adam's apple bobbed up and down before shutting his eye.
" I fucked up Bella," He whispered as a tear slid down his face and I immediately sat beside him, facing his tall frame as I watch his nose turn red.
It was honestly a shocker to see Austin around considering he did recently just MIA and was nowhere to be found whenever the three of us are together. Maybe this is why he was missing for a few days, maybe something was bothering him.
" I fucked up so badly," His eyes snapped open and his sea blue eyes were filled with pain and misery as I looked at him questionably.
" Whats wrong?" I lifted my hands and place it on both of his cheeks, making him face me as I wiped away his trailing tears.
" I-I, I met Lilith, a sweet and beautiful girl," His wobbly lips turn up into a small smile as I watch him start to spill out whatever was bothering him.
