Leaning on the wall Harry and Mr Weasley fell through it sideways onto platform 9 3/4. Once the remaining Weasleys and Hermione had joined them, they went to the end of the train, past packed compartments, to a carriage that looked quite empty. They loaded the trunks onto it then went outside to go say goodbye to Mr and Mrs Weasley. After they had said their goodbyes and the children had their sandwiches along with a word from Mr Weasley they got onto the train.
"Harry, what did my dad tell you?" Ron asked as they waved out the window from the moving train now leaving the platform. "Just that I have the serial killer, Sirius Black, after me and not to go looking for him" Harry said calmly, while on the inside he was terrified. He had enough to deal with at the Dursley's with the constant abuse, mental and physical, now he had a mass killer after him. Harry hated his life. "How can you say that so calmly, Harry! There's a murderer after you and you are only 13!" Hermione shouted.
"It's fine Hermione." Harry started to explain "We'll be at Hogwarts, the most protected and safe place in England, maybe apart from Gringotts, and possibly the world, so if he does find me he won't be able to reach me"
"If you're sure Harry." Ron said questioning the boy beside him. The rest of the way was silent until a particular blonde entered the compartment the golden trio was in. "Have you heard the news, Potter?" Draco said with a smirk, Crabbe and Goyle in tow.Word count:271
