Dear Heart,
I know you are beaten, stabbed, hurt,
And broken into pieces.
I know you're still beating for someone.
I know why you always take risks,
Even though people will someday leave you, hurt you, and stab you.
I know you are tired of everything.
You have done nothing wrong.
You gave love but you received pain.
You gave smiles but you received tears.
You gave everything but you received nothing.
Please stop beating.
Please stop saying your OKAY.
Please stop trying.
Please stop yourself from hurting.
I will now put you in a cage isolated from everything just to keep you safe.
