"A Keeper's Broken Promise"
I close my eyes and breathed silently
As I remember the promises I made vividly
Promises I barely wanted to keep
Promises I wanted to forget as I sleep
Never wanted to break a promise
Nor wanted to make a promise I can't even keep
Needed countless effort just to make it
And patiently waiting just to prove it
Never expected that things would come
That a single promise was broken and done
As the keeper of promises I did nothing wrong
To the broken promise that is forgotten long gone
