To: The one I will marry
I can be your friend, who will stay by your side till the very end
I can be your shoulder, when things fail and you wanted to surrender
I can be your tutor, who will guide you and watch you as you grow and prosper
I can be your motivation, in times when you need an inspiration
I can be the reason for you to keep moving on
For I can give you anything, but I can't promise to give you everything
That I have nothing to give, only efforts to create something
For I am only human, a simple and imperfect being
That I promise you that is worth to keep, a future worth to keep on living
For I had doubts and questions that weren't worth answering
That I will still patiently promise you that I keep on waiting
To the one I will be with, I ask you only to stay
Stay as I keep the promises I made to play
To the one I will be with, I ask you only to pray
Pray as God only knows and can lead us the way
