Fifteen

>>>Aaliyah's POV<<<

It's been two weeks since the showdown at Porterhouse Steaks. Gabriel and I haven't spoken to each other, my mother is pissed, and Sean keeps ignoring me. As I get up from the living room couch, I stretch my very sore muscles then go into the kitchen and make turkey bacon, rice, and biscuits. I get Sean's medicine from the cabinet and place it on the tray with his breakfast then carry it into my room because he has been sleeping in my bed.

"Sean, it's time to eat and take your medicine" I tell him as he sits up.

I place the tray into his lap and grab the cup from the night stand, filling it up with water then putting it back on the night stand. The night of the fight, I had to take Sean to the hospital and he has a broken bone under his eye. The doctor ordered bed rest and pain medicine along with an eye patch so I've been caring for him, hand and foot. He was told to take it extremely easy so lately all he does is sleep, eat, and ignore me.

"How are you feeling today?" I ask him.

Silence.

"Just let me know if you need anything. I'm about to get ready for work."

Silence.

I walk into my bathroom and take a shower then get dressed in my normal outfit. Grabbing my keys from the hook, I stare at Sean.

"Listen, I know you're upset about what happened between Gabriel and I but you have to forgive me. You've cheated on me too. Gabriel and I have never had sex, he only fingered me. I'm sorry you had to find out that way. If it helps, I haven't spoken to him since and I won't speak to him again if that'll make this right. Baby, please talk to me" I practically beg.

Silence.

I sigh loudly as I make my way to my car and drive to the coffee shop. Walking inside, I see Gabriel and Owen taking drink orders so I walk over to Owen's line even tho Gabriel's line is empty.

"Aaliyah, I'll make your drink" Gabriel tells me.

"No, thank you." I say and wait for Owen to make it instead.

After my latte is made, I pay then start walking out of the door until I feel my arm being grabbed and I am pulled into the corner like a child.

"Stop fucking playing with me Aaliyah. I've given you enough time to calm down now lets get back to how we were... I miss you and I know you miss me too" Gabriel tells me.

"I'm not playing. You've almost ruined my relationship and I do not miss you" I lie knowing I miss him like crazy.

Gabriel places his hands on the wall beside my head and leans down so close that I can smell his minty breath. I stare into his eyes then his lips, wanting so badly to kiss him. He gets a bit closer and I close my eyes waiting to feel his lips but I never do.

"I've proved my point." He smirks, referring to me missing him.

I roll my eyes as I walk to my car then sip my coffee as I'm driving to work. Once I make it, I clock in and start doing my job. Typing away at my computer, I start to send transfer students' files to other schools as well as check my emails for any files that have been sent to me. I also print off the detention list and post it on the bulletin board in the hall. As I'm walking back to my desk, I hear Gabriel screaming "HELP!!"...Turning towards him, I see Tyrone with a beat up face, torn uniform, and he's limping. Gabriel is carrying a younger boy that looks vaguely familiar.

"What the hell! Come into my office now!" I tell them as they follow me.

Shutting the door behind myself, I start to panic as I see the boys in pain. Hell, I don't even know why they're with Gabriel.
