>>>Aaliyah's POV<<<
Stepping out of Gabriel's car, my mind is racing 100mph as I try to think about what I'm going to tell my parents. My wobbly legs carry me up to the front door then I use my clammy hands to knock. My mother swings the door open and is immediately shocked by my appearance.
"Oh God, benji come here!!.... Aaliyah, is that blood?" My mother screams.
"Y-Yes, I need to talk to you both." I say as I walk into the house.
Slowly sitting down on the couch, I close my eyes and Jessie's slit throat appears in my mind. My dad comes into the living room then joins my mother and I on the couch.
"Sweetie, what's wrong? Why are you covered in blood?" My dad asks, worriedly.
"Listen, I need to tell you guys something important. We had to leave Britain in a hurry because Gabriel's mother tried to kill me and she had a pregnant girl locked up in a room. She wanted to kill me because I'm pregnant too. Gabriel and I ran into some trouble on our way home and now we have to disappear. Please don't ask any questions, just know that I love you both and I will talk to you whenever I can. I promise to let you meet the baby whenever the time is right. Don't worry about me, Gabriel has everything under control. This is my goodbye." I explain with tears in my eyes.
My parents pull me into a group hug then my father goes and gets my suitcase.
"Aaliyah, I never thought I'd find out about my grandchildren this way but whatever is going on, please call us if you need anything. Are you sure we can't just call the police? There has to be a way out of the situation you're in." My mom tells me.
"I know and I'm sorry about that but no, don't call the police. Gabriel and I will handle everything." I say, grabbing my suitcase.
"We love you." My parents say in unison then hug me one last time before I walk out of the door.
Taking my suitcase back to the car, Gabriel helps me put it inside then my parents walk out and stand in front of him.
"Take care of her and my grandchild." My dad says with watery eyes.
"I will, we'll be in touch. I'm sorry for everything. Goodbye." Gabriel tells him.
We both get back into the car and Gabriel starts driving in a random direction.
"Gabriel, where are we going?" I ask, folding my arms.
"I have no idea. We'll drive in this direction for about three hours then stop at a hotel and figure out where we're going from there. We both need to shower and rest but until then, grab those wipes from the glove compartment box and clean the blood off your face then get a change of clothes from your suitcase."
"Okay."
Using the wipes, I let down the mirror and start wiping the blood off my face and neck then dig around in my suitcase to find another shirt and pants. As I'm slipping them on, I notice Gabriel continue to glance at me while licking his lips.
"You look fantastic, love." He smirks.
"No I don't. My eyes are swollen, I have bags under my eyes, and I'm fat. My shirt barely fits!"
"Aaliyah, you're beautiful and that just means our baby is growing."
"Yeah whatever, I'm taking a nap. Wake me when we get there and use this wipe to clean your cut." I say, hand him a wipe, and get comfortable in the seat.
After what seems like 30 minutes, Gabriel is shaking me awake and we're parked in front of a nice hotel.
"How long has it been?" I ask, groggily.
