Ch. 25- He's Heartbroken but She's Insane

*Adrien's POV*

I watched as my princess........Mari rode away on her bike. That made me fully snap.

I sat down on the school steps and started crying. I leaned against the wall with my hands over my face.

That did not just happen.........I did NOT just lose the love of my life

No..........

I started sobbing. She means everything to me. Everything about her from her shyness to being a sassy ladybug is what I fell in love with. I know that that wasn't the real Mari yesterday. The Mari today was the real one, overthinking but doing the right thing. But her doing the right thing hurt me.....a lot.

I heard the doors open and a bunch of footsteps running down the stairs towards me.

"Dude what happened?" Nino asked and he pulled me up

"Holy shit" everyone gasped once they saw my face

"She-she broke up with me" I cried

"SHE WHAT!?!" everyone screamed

Alya and Nino hugged me and soon we were in a group hug

I have the best friends ever

After everyone pulled away I wasn't crying

"What the hell happened?" Kim asked

We all sat down and I told them what happened.......

"Mari would never do that!" Alya exclaimed

"Yeah and we know that for sure" Kim said and everyone agreed

"As much as I hate to admit it, that girl loves you Adrien like way more than herself and would do anything in the world if meant to keep you safe"

We all stared at Chloe in shock for what she just said

"Wait....she has a point. You said that Mari told you that she didn't want you with her because she was bad for you and basically she wanted to keep you safe right?" Alya asked, turning towards me

I nodded

"Maybe she broke up with you to literally keep you safe. She wouldn't drag you into something bad, she would do it herself and keep you safe. So maybe something bad is happening in her life and she needed to keep her distance away from you" Alya said thinking out loud

"But what is happening that is so bad?" Mylene asked

"I don't know but it's something really really bad since she had to break up with Adrien" Alya said

"We need to get to the bottom of this" Alix said

"Ohh can we ask your mom Adrien? I mean she is in the FBI and could help us out" Nino asked

"Sure I guess" I said

We all got up and walked towards my house completely forgetting that we had school.

*Miss.B's POV*

"Good morning stu...dents?" I said

The classroom was empty, no one was there, just their backpacks.

Where did everyone go?

*Adrien's POV*

We all walked up to the gate of my house and buzzed Nathalie.

"Yes-? Adrien....and his entire class?" Nathalie asked as soon as she saw us on the camera

"Hey" I said shyly

Alya pushed me to the side, "Let us in we need to speak with Mrs. Agreste" she demanded

"Ok one sec" Nathalie said

"How'd you do that?" I asked

"It's my personality blondy" Alya laughed and ruffled my hair

"Hey!!" I said swatting her hand away

The gates opened and we walked up to my front door. The door opened and we all barged in not even seeing who opened the door and went straight up to my mom's office. Thank goodness she was off today.......well sorta.

We all knocked on the door and heard her cuss, "Holy shit! Come in!"

We all laughed and open the door

"Nice vocab Mrs.Agreste" Alix laughed

"What? I wasn't expecting an entire class in my office......speaking of which, why the hell are you guys not in school?" my mom asked

"We need some help" Alya said, "It's about Marinette"

My mom's head snapped up

"What? Is she okay?" my mom asked

"Yes...we think. It's just that she broke up with Adrien but the reason why she did it was really weird" Alya said

"Well sit down"

We all sat down and explained what happened...........

"You said that she might have something bad going on in her personal life?" my mom asked

"Yes" we all said

Silence

"Hmmm personal life, personal life......wait a minute! What if........." mom started rambling so quietly, we couldn't even hear

All of a sudden my mom's eyes went wide and she got out her computer...........
