Ch. 12- Actor

*Marinette's POV*

I woke up in a cold ass room with a light shining in my face. All white surrounded me and so did....beeping?

Oh right I'm in a hospital......

I looked around and my eyes landed on the doctor who was staring at me........

Ugh, you have got to be kidding me

"Why the fucking hell are you here Chris?" I asked

"I'm your doctor, doll" he said

"Your a licensed doctor to kill, not make them live"

"Yeah I secretly kill all the patients here"

I eyed him and he sighed

"Fine. I'm here cuz I heard you were here and your dad sent me"

"He's gonna kill me"

"Nah he won't.........he'll just torture you" he winked and walked out of the room

That little......

He walked back in the room a couple minutes later

"Sooooo?" I asked

*Emily's POV*

I couldn't believe my eyes when I read that paper. Adrien is going to be heartbroken when he finds out. Something doesn't feel right tho, it all feels fake. For some reason, I feel like Mari has something to do with my case that I'm working on. I have no idea why but the feeling won't leave me alone and it's bugging the shit outta me.

"Mom please tell me" Adrien begged

"Sweetie you don't wanna know"

"Please!!" he cried

I couldn't stand seeing him like this but I won't tell him no matter what...........especially when the love of his life has cancer.

"Adrien listen to me, she should be the one to tell you not me. Please don't worry about this, don't take this for granted but I feel like that file was fake" I said, I don't know why I told him

"What do you mean fake?"

"I don't know, my gut is telling me that something is off and it's pointing towards Mari but I'm not sure"

Adrien stayed silent

"Please don't get worked up over this, the more I think about it the more I believe that the file was fake. It just doesn't make sense"

"What doesn't?"

"If I told you then you would know what the file said"

"Ugh"

"Sweetie please don't worry about it. I'm not gonna believe anything until Mari confirms it"

"Ok" he said and ran up to his room

I walked up to my office and got my computer out. I got the hospital files pulled up and looked up for Mari and they took a while to come up which normally doesn't happen unless they are fake.

"Hmmmm"

I looked at her file and found some small, almost unnoticeable errors that a hospital would never make........

"It was fake" I whispered, "But why?"

I did some more research to find her real file but there wasn't one.

Why doesn't she have one? Did they even check her?

The doctor said that they had her tests and all plus it took 2 hours, they had to be doing something. The doctor said that she disappeared but she couldn't walk or jump out the window, I was told by Alya that her leg was broken in 2 spots. She obviously didn't disappear so why'd the doctor say that she was gone.......wait a sec

The doctor........the doctor........the doctor

I called everyone into my office. Alya, Nino and their parents along with my family.

"Yes?" Alya asked confused, "What is it?"

"Does anyone remember the doctor's name?" I asked, not looking up from my screen

"No, he didn't have a tag" Nino said and everyone agreed

"Aren't they supposed to have one?" Alya asked

"Yes they are" I said and pulled out another computer for FBI work, "Fuck!!" I yelled while slapping my desk making everyone jump

"What?" Alya's mom asked

"I fucking knew it. It was all fake" I said angrily

"What was all fake?" my husband asked

"The file, the doctor, everything. It was a set up"

"What do you mean. What's going on with my princess? Where's my princess!?!?" Adrien yelled angrily, standing up

"Adrien calm down" Nino and Alya said and pulled him back down on his seat

"Hold on" I said as my work computer turned on

I looked in the hospitals records and saw all of the staff members. All of their pictures were up there but the doctor that had Mari, my heart was starting to race for this girl, I don't know why but I feel like this girl is hiding something dangerous from us.

I looked at my work computer and saw it was up. I looked back at my normal computer then snapped my head back to my work one. There he was, a new piece of info for the large case I was working on.

"Holy shit" I whispered and everyone heard since it was dead silent in the room besides my typing.

Mari's doctor was on my computer as the new piece of info for my case. Just to make sure I was right, I photoshopped him as a doctor and covered his tattoos and sure enough, it was him. 

"Oh god" I said and put my hands on my face

"Mom what's going on?" Adrien asked

"Shit" I sighed, ingoring Adrien

I got out my phone and called the FBI team

"Hello?" Mark answered

"Chris Hemmingback" I said

"What?"

"The guy you just sent me"

"And?"

"My sons girlfriend had him as a doctor. She needed actual medical attention but got some fake ass doctor"

"Wait seriously?" he asked bewildered

"Yes, I want everyone down at the hospital now" I demanded

"You got it boss" he said and hung up

"Mom did someone, having to do with your big case happen to be Mari's doctor?" Adrien asked calmly

Oh no

I got up and ran out of the room hearing a faint "WHAT?" being yelled

Aaaand that's why I ran

I got into my car and drove off back to the hospital but realized something else......

Why weren't her parents at the hospital?
