Ch. 10- Thanksgiving Break...Her Bones

*Marinette's POV*

I woke up feeling cold. I looked around and saw that there was a spot next to me that looked like someone slept there. I sat up confused on why I was on one side of my bed instead of the center. Then last nights events came rushing back to me, Thanksgiving dinner, running away, screaming, and Adrien.

"Oh"

I got up from my bed and walked down the stairs to my desk and sat there doing nothing. I had no clue what to-BAM!!

"You little slut!!" my "father' screamed as he threw open my door

"What did I do?"

"You went over to a Thanksgiving dinner with some boy and got fat!! I mean look at you!!" he screamed pulling me up and lifting my shirt

This is what always happens, he says I can do something then he forgets that he said it and beats me

"I don't think I'm fat, I have a 6 pack"

"You are fat, you need a better 6 pack you idiot!!"

*Slap*
*Kick*
*Punch*

It repeated over and over again but I didn't scream, what's the use. I just fell to the floor taking hit after hit until......

*Snap*

I screamed but got punched in the face.

He just broke my leg......he just fucking BROKE MY LEG

*Snap*
*Crack*

Ok that didn't hurt as much as my leg but now I think I have broken ribs and a leg........great!!

"I'll be gone for today slut, here's what you have to do" he seethed and threw a folder on my face. He turned around and left the house, slamming all the doors.

"Oh my gosh Mari are you okay?!?" Tikki worrily shouted, flying toward me

"Does it look like it" I groaned

"Right. Do you want me to-?"

"No Tikki you've helped me so much, you don't need to"

"But Mari you have broken bones!"

"I know but they will heal"

"Yeah, slowly. If you won't let me help then can I please check you?"

"Fine but I don't think I can get up"

"Ok"

Tikki flew over and transformed into human and knelt down by me. She carefully stretched out my legs so I was straight on the ground.

"Ow!" I yelped as a shock of pain jolted through me when she moved my right leg

"Oh sorry!"

"It's ok"

After a couple minutes of doing whatever she was doing she spoke,

"Ok so um I hate to say this but he broke your right leg in 2 places, broke 1 rib, and cracked 3 other ribs"

"Damn"

"Yeah. Please can I try and heal you?" she pleaded

"No Tikki, you use waaay too much energy and you shouldn't be taking care of me. This is my fault"

"No it isn't!! It's your fathers and I don't care if I use a lot of energy on you"

"Sorry T but not this time"

Tikki clentched her fists and fell backwards while growling in annoyance.

BOOM BOOM

I groaned, "You have got to be kidding me!! Let's go"

"What no!! I will not-"

"Tikki spots on!!" I yelled, still on the floor

"Ow..ow..ow..ow..ow" I repeated as I stood up, kinda

I tried to walk but that ending up as me feeling my broken bones shift around, making me fall and use my desk as support.

Ugh this is gonna hurt

Ignoring all the pain, I made a shot for my balcony door and swung out.

Lord help me

I landed next to my partners and held in a cry of pain that wanted to escape so bad.

"Hey guys, who is it this time?" I asked

"Model who got rejected by Gabriel" Alya said backing away behind Nino

"Excuse me?" I said and turned towards Adrien

"Relax, she only got rejected because I didn't want to model with her. I wanted to model with all of you. Plus she was a stuck up snobby little-"

"Hello I am The Shining Star!! Now give your miraculous!!" she screamed

Ahhh so creative Hawkmoth, Shining Star...because she wanted to be one by modeling.....

"Clever" Alya deadpanned

Star waved her baton in the air making a shining beam of light shine on us. Everyone covered their eyes but me, it was no different then the lights at the club. Sadly this meant that I had to attack.......

I got my yoyo out and swung it across the street behind her. It pulled me to another building and when I landed.....yeah you don't wanna know. I tried walking but before I could I was hit with a ball of light and flung to another building.

"Ladybug!!!" I heard my friends shout and I could imagine them getting ready to destroy this akuma.

I slowly pulled myself up but sloutched......oh no

I think that one cracked rib just became broken......

I saw Star get ready to throw a light ball at Chat so I flung my yoyo and pulled her arm back. I noticed that she would always grab onto her necklace that was on her wrist before she got ready to throw a light ball.

"Guys I think it's in her necklace!!" I yelled to my friends as I realized what was about to happen

"You have to be-ahhhh!" I yelled as Star got a hold of my yoyo and flung me over her and onto another building, making me crash into a wall

I screamed out in pain at my ribs and leg bones that were not in the right places. You could see the bones in my leg poking the skin from the inside and let me tell you, it was not a sight to see. I rolled over.....bad idea, I suddenly couldn't breathe. I saw my friends get the akuma out of the neckalace.

"Guys!!" I yelled and flung my yoyo towards them, letting it go so they could use it.

I used up the rest of my energy and breath so I started coughing to catch my breath. The world was spinning and I heard, Alya I think scream my name while I was coughing then heard a faint, "Oh my god, Mari". I looked down at where I was coughing....blood. I was coughing out fucking blood thanks to my ribs poking my lungs to death......quite literally.

"Ladybug!!!" I heard Alya scream just as I blacked out.......
