"i can't believe i have to work you for this project" jaehyun muttered as he walked out of school with hyesun beside him.

"well maybe if you didn't throw paper balls at me, we wouldn't be in the position" she replied, annoyed of what had happened earlier that led them to this situation.

flashback;

hyesun was in her literature class with jisun and sadly so was jaehyun. their literature class was for the more advanced students aka the smart class.

the teacher had been hinting a partner project for the past few days and the students were hoping that it'd be a 'choose-your-own-partner' situation.

the teacher was explaining the project they had to do and most students had zoned out during that time, wanting to mostly know if they could choose whoever they wanted to be their partner.

hyesun had sat in the front of the class, listening attentively to the teacher while jaehyun sat at the back kinda tuning the teacher in and out.

the boy thought it would be quite funny to start annoying hyesun. he ripped a piece of paper from his notebook as quietly as he could and attempted to crumble it up as quietly as he could as well.

once he saw the teacher face the chalkboard, he threw the paper ball at the back of hyesun's head.

"yah-!" she began causing everyone, and the teacher, to look at her.

"is there something you'd like to add miss. shin?"

jaehyun had to stifle his laugh at this, knowing how much hyesun probably wanted to kill him in that moment.

"n-no. i'm sorry for interrupting" she bowed her head lightly, allowing the teacher to continue talking.

their teacher turned their body around, facing the chalkboard and immediately hyesun whipped her body around looking at jaehyun who only was stifling his laughs in his hand.

she rolled her eyes at the immature boy, turning back to pay attention once again to the teacher.

and so jaehyun did the same thing again, hoping for another reaction out of the girl.

and just as he threw the paper ball, the teacher turned around. the ball hit hyesun's head and she clenched her fists tightly trying to stop herself from murdering the boy right then and there.

"so mr. jung" their teacher called out which caused the boy to stand up from his eat, "and miss. shin" she also stood up, looking at their teacher, "since you guys love to not listen to me, i say you guys work together on this project"

"b-but mrs-"  hyesun tried to argue but their teacher cut them off.

"everyone else may choose their partner" 

the whole class woo'ed in excitement while hyesun was dreading everything that was going to happen afterwards.
