it was now wednesday of the next week which meant it was jisun's birthday. hyesun and jaehyun had managed to finish their project that was due the day before her birthday. it had gone decently well, the two not yelling at each other as much but hyesun being still irritated by his presence but a little less.

"jisun..i don't want to say anything because it's your birthday.." hyesun sighed, turning around to face her best friend who was sitting on her bed, "but i hate this dress"

"why!?" she exclaimed, "it looks great on you!"

"i hate this..you know i hate dresses." hyesun groaned as she moved to sit on the chair by her desk.

"to be fair.. all you ever wear is jeans and one of your brother's t-shirt." jisun crossed her arms, "and this is for my birthday tonight! do it for me!"

"fine..but this is your birthday gift." hyesun stood up once again and looked into the mirror, feeling uncomfortable.

jisun bit her lip, feeling bad about what she was doing. jisun quickly shook her head and stood up causing hyesun to turn and look at the girl, "take it off. you're not comfortable in it and if my best friend isn't comfortable in something then i don't want you to wear it."

"but what would i wear? i have nothing nice enough for your party." hyesun replied.

"hmm..." jisun pondered as she walked over to the girl's closet, looking over the clothes she had, "let's do something simple and more comfortable."

immediately, jisun pulled out an oversized black graphic tshirt along with a pair of black ripped jeans that were baggy.

she then handed them to the girl, "put these on. i'll style you afterwards but i think it'll be more comfortable that tight dress."

jisun then turned around while jisun began changing into the more comfortable clothes. once she was done, jisun turned around again before moving to stand in front of her and grabbed the hem of the shirt and brought it up, tying it up in a knot, exposing a bit of her stomach

"is that too much skin?" jisun asked as hyesun looked at herself in the mirror, tilting her head at herself, "i can undo it-"

"no, no. it's actually okay. i like i.t" hyesun replied truthfully and jisun smiled in response, "what should i do with my hair?"

"maybe.." jisun grabbed a bit of hair, leaving it in the front before grabbing the rest of her hair and tying it up into a ponytail, "like that? or leave your hair down?"

"this looks good also." hyesun smiled, "thank you jisun."

"of course! you look so good and much more comfortable!" jisun clapped before going back to sit on the girl's bed.

hyesun proceeded to sit at the chair at her desk, looking at the girl and decided to ask a question, "so..how are you and sicheng?"

this cause jisun to suddenly blushed at the question, "it's going good.." she muttered.

"i'm surprised you guys are so oblivious to each other's feelings." hyesun sighed, "it's obvious you guys like each other. just ask him out. switch the roles."

"no!" she immediately protested against the idea before scoffing, "he probably doesn't even like me like that either.."

hyesun let out a groan, throwing her head back, "i hate love. it's so gross."

"it's because you've never liked anyone. you don't know the feeling of how it feels to just want to be with someone and be loved by someone. go on dates and just have someone to call a boyfriend or girlfriend." jisun replied to the girl.
