"where were you yesterday? we tried calling you but you never responded to us" yuta asked jaehyun as the two walked in the hallways

"i was out.." he dragged his sentence, trying to hide the fact that he was with hyesun

"with who? taeyong and ten were together and sicheng was with jisun. you know..to be honest i think they're dating already" he crossed his arms at the thought

"i was out with my sister?" he spoke, ignoring the last part of yuta's sentence

"but she posted that she was at a club on instagram at that time" jaehyun heaved a sigh knowing he couldn't lie any more

"alright then. i was hanging out with hyesun" yuta widened his eyes at this

"did you finally tell her the truth?! oh my god. what happened?!" he exclaimed making jaehyun clasp his mouth shut with his hand

"shut up, you're so loud" jaehyun said annoyingly before taking his hand off his mouth and yuta just waited for his answer, curious

"no" he responded, "i didn't tell her"

yuta let out a groan of frustration with the boy, "you need to tell her!"

"i know! i just..i couldn't tell her yesterday" he sighed, disappointed in himself as well that he was lying to hyesun

"speak of the angel.." yuta suddenly spoke causing the boy to stop as two girls approached them

"angel?" hyesun repeated, a light chuckle leaving her mouth while yuta just nodded his head cutely

jisun then looked at jaehyun, "class?" jaehyun just nodded at this, not really knowing how he was feeling at the moment

"see you guys later" the two waved as they walked to class together and they talked like normal but this time, jaehyun wasn't as nervous anymore

jaehyun had been noticing these past few weeks that when walking to class and in class, he wasn't as distracted and focused on his work instead of jisun like he usually did. his heart wouldn't beat as fast when he was near here anymore and he was able to talk to her comfortably now without being a nervous wreck.

'did i stop liking hyerin..?' he thought to himself as jisun was talking to him about something.

even if he did stop liking her, he felt like something was missing.

the end of the week rolled around quickly for them. it was almost winter break and everyone was stuck studying for finals. yet a majority of the students were just ready for winter break so they can spend time with family and not have to deal with school.

hyesun had been busy studying until the crack of dawn with no sleep and she basically denied hanging out with anyone until finals were over. despite everyone nagging her to stop and take a break, even just a 10 minute one but she refused and kept studying.

the only one who distracted her was none other than jaehyun. he would come over to help hajoon with his homework and when hajoon would eventually pass out, like always, jaehyun would go and attempt to rip hyesun from her studies which proved difficult except for one time when he convinced her to watch a movie in their living room

she only agreed to get him to stop annoying her. the two ended up finding the movie interesting before eventually falling asleep.

hajoon had caught the two sleeping when he woke up but he ended up not disturbing the two from their sleep mainly since he knew hyesun needed to sleep and this was probably the only time she was going to get a good sleep.
