"you play the piano?" sicheng asked hyesun as he walked her to her class.

hyesun would've walked with jisun to drop her off at her homeroom but jaehyun had objected it saying that him and jisun had the same class so they should just walk together anyways.

hyesun wasn't going to object it since she didn't feel like arguing with jaehyun after what happened the day before.

"yah but only because we had to play an instrument in elementary and i chose the piano" she replied and he nodded before he remembered a question he had to ask her.

"oh! i need help with getting jisun a birthday present. i don't know her well enough to know what to get but i want to get her something" he rubbed the back of his neck.

"she likes anything, candy, chocolate, jewelry, anything basically. she really likes anime too. i think her favorites are like attack on titan and she likes your lie in april" hyesun replied as the two finally reached her class, the two now standing outside of her class, "but answer me first..you like her right?

he shushed her immediately, covering her mouth and looking around to make sure no one was around to hear her.

sicheng let go and let out a sigh, "yes i do. was it obvious?"

"i figured to be honest" she shrugged, "also yuta kinda told me"

he widened his eyes, "i'm going to kill him later" the two chuckled, "get to class, we'll meet you later during free period at the library"

she nodded and waved bye as he left her. she turned to enter her classroom but suddenly the interaction she had with jaehyun before she left for home entered her thoughts.

flashback;

"i told you it would rain"

hyesun looked at the boy in shock for a few seconds, trying to comprehend that the boy was being nice for a change. before she could speak, he did, "yah yah i'm being nice whatever" he pushed the umbrella towards her, indicating for her to take it, "just take it"

she shook her head out of the trance she was in and responded, "huh? but you need it as well"

"there's a convenience store the way i walk, i'll just buy another umbrella on the way. i don't know which way you're going but i don't think there's a convenience store down there and you don't seem to have one so i'll just let you have this one"

hyesun slowly took the umbrella into her hand as jaehyun put his hood on, waving bye to the girl, "get home safe and remember to send me the presentation slides"

the boy took off the other way, running through the way.

hyesun stood there in place, looking at the umbrella she was holding. she just turned around and began walking, a small grin on her face while doing so.

end of flashback;

hyesun quickly shook her head again, trying to forget the thoughts.

'just give him the umbrella back another day and you'll be good hyesun. forget it'

"you're just as short as jisun, let jaehyun get the book" yuta teased ten who was struggling to reach for a book on the tall shelf in the library. ten rolled his eyes at the comment, stopping himself at the getting the book to allow room for jaehyun.
