twenty nine

"hyesun, let's go home already." hyunjoon urged her but the girl refused.

it had been a few days already yet hajoon hadn't woken up yet. hyesun was sat on the chair beside him, holding tightly onto his hand.

she wished he would just wake up so she wouldn't have to suffer and see him in this state anymore.

it was killing her.

"hyunjoon.." she mumbled and he let out a hmm, "i'm sorry."

that caught him off guard as he took a seat beside her, "for what?"

"for..blaming you.." she let out but couldn't look hyunjoon in the eyes since she felt so shameful, "i was just mad..and confused and..i didn't know what to do. i shouldn't have reacted like that. you're not to blame for it and i don't wish that you're dead.."

"hyesun..it's-"

"and don't say it's fine!" she shouted, tears threatening to fall from her eyes, "all you do is care for us and you go out of your way to make sure the family is supported but all i do is get mad at you for everything! i'm sorry.."

"hyesun-"

he was cut off once again as he felt arms wrap around his shoulders and soon felt tears soaking his shoulder.

hyunjoon let out a sigh as he hugged his sister back, patting her back in comfort as she cried out, mumbling 'i'm sorry' over and over again.

hyunjoon's heart clenched at the sight of his dear sister crying. he hated to put her in a position like this. he truly wanted the best for his siblings yet it seemed to go sideways all the time.

"hyesun." he spoke sternly as he pulled away and saw hyesun's tear stained cheeks with red eyes. he brought his hands up to her cheeks, rubbing her tears away even though they kept falling, "don't be sorry for anything. i understand your frustration with the whole situation..but we have to stay strong for each other and for hajoon, alright?"

the girl bit her lip to stop any more sobs from coming out as hyunjoon continued to wipe her tears away.

hyunjoon grinned lightly before bringing his hand up to her hair, patting it lightly, "you're a great girl hyesun.."

hyesun let out a groan before letting her head fall onto his shoulder, "don't say stupid stuff like that.." she muttered, sniffling.

he chuckled, patting her back as he looked over at hajoon's unconscious body.

he took in a deep breath and let his eyes close.

what the hell was he going to do from here?

jisun was pacing around her house, biting her nail from her thumb. she had returned and she was dying to see hyesun and see if she was okay along with her brother.

jisun knew how much her brothers meant to her so for one of them to get into a position like that would make hyesun either spiral or not know what to do.

there was a knock on her door making jisun snap out of her thoughts and immediately go towards the door.

she placed her hand on the doorknob, opening the door only to see hyesun standing there with her hands shoved into her pockets.

hyesun gave a weak smile immediately, "hey-"

jisun cut her off, wrapping her arms around hyesun's shoulders, hugging her tightly.
