When I woke up the next morning, Ryder was gone. Just when I thought we were getting back on track.
I grabbed my phone and the first thing I saw was a text from Ryder.
It read: I had to go work some things out, but come over when you wake up.
And damn sure I was going over there.
I had too many questions not too.
I put on a pair of leggings and a big sweatshirt before I headed to Ryder's place.
As I rode the elevator up to his apartment and I couldn't stop jittering.
What the hell was I doing? What if he turned me away? Hell, what if Andras was there?
I just had so many questions.
You're already here, just commit to it.
What was the worst that could happen? The worst was last night.
I walked down the hall and I knocked on the door.
Ryder opened the door and let me in, "Hey."
I walked into the apartment and everything looked the same, he even still had pictures of us up.
"Ryder, what's going on?" I finally asked him
"Turn off your phone." Ryder ordered, "They track it."
I pulled my phone out of my pocket and turned it off.
I followed him into his room.
Everything was in order, typical Ryder fashion.
"You're going through a lot right now." I bought up as I put my phone on his dresser
Ryder sat down on the bench that was in front of his bed.
I just stood there awkwardly while he gathered his thoughts.
We locked eyes for a moment before he looked away.
"God, I don't know where to even start." Ryder admitted
I nodded, "I don't either but I just want us to be honest."
He looked me in the eyes again, "You don't hate me, right?"
"I could never hate you, I could only hate the things other people make you do. Ryder, I really need to know the truth. Please don't lie to me." I sympathized
Ryder's lip began to quiver and he buried his face in his hands.
"I didn't want to, Holly, I swear on my life." He cried
I placed my hands on his cheek slowly and I slowly got down to his level
"Look at me." I spoke softly as I stroked his cheeks
Ryder's eyes met mine.
Oh my gosh, I forgot how much I missed seeing his gorgeous blue eyes.
"I know Ryder, I know you. That wasn't you on the phone, Andras quoted what you said word for word. I thought back and put two and two together. " I consoled him
"What does he have against you?" I wondered
"It's not against me, it's against you. I couldn't give a fuck about what Andras could do to me. I've seen it all fake baby mamas, fake girlfriends, you name it. He said he would blackball you and get all of these modeling opportunities dropped. He also put a camera in our hotel room, so he has our sex tape. He told me if I broke up with you that nothing would happen, so I did. I'm sorry, but I didn't want you to suffer." He explained to me
