Going off the grid for a few days was a good and bad thing.

It was good because Ryder and I finally got to get away from all the stress and busy schedules for a few days. It was nice to sit back and relax, eat junk food, and have our toes in the sand. 

But Ryder and I turned off our phones before we made one last Instagram post. Little did we know that Ryder's caption would cause an uproar when he stepped off the plane.

Everyone thought I was pregnant because his caption was 'Bahama Mama'. 

When in reality, a Bahama mama was just a drink I was obsessed with when we were in the Bahamas. 

And assuring everyone that I was not pregnant was exhausting.

After we landed back in New York City, Ryder flew back to Georgia and I flew to North Carolina. I was spending time with my friends from high school and I couldn't wait to see them again. Even if it was only for the weekend.

Hannah and Stella went to Duke, while Addison, Paisley, and Ariana went to Clemson. They were all skipping school on Friday just to drive to Charlotte.

When I saw all of them trickle into my parents' house, it was like we were in high school again with no problems.

"I missed you sexy ass bitch!" Ariana exclaimed as she hugged me, "Clemson isn't the same without you."

Ariana and I had been best friends since we were in Pre-K, she was my absolute bestest friend, and was my roommate in college. I remember teachers would always mix us up because we both had blonde hair and blue eyes.

All of these months away from each other were too long.

"I missed you too." I smiled. We took a step back and Ariana stared at my stomach.

"What are you doing?" I asked her

"Just making sure that you aren't pregnant," Ari smirked

I rolled my eyes while everyone laughed.

"That's impossible, I have an IUD and assure you that I'm not pregnant," I said as I sat down on the couch, "How is college going?"

"It's going, how is your life going?" Hannah wondered

"It's really well, busy but I couldn't ask for anything more." I answered

Ariana twirled her hair, "I bet by this time next year that you're going to be engaged."

"We still need to meet him, for real this time." Stella reminded me

"Soon, I promise. He's coming in February for the twins signing day." I began, "You can all meet him and interrogate him then."

Hannah grinned, "You got a man man."

"Fuck whatever your ex's name was. Chris?" Paisley added

"Chase, he got some girl pregnant." Addison informed us, "I think she had an abortion though or maybe she wasn't really pregnant. Who knows?"

Ariana shrugged, "Dodged a bullet."

"Seriously did."I agreed

We talked for two hours about what was going on while we got ready to go to the club.  All of my friends were in happy relationships, which proved that we really just need to have a big date.

We bar hopped and went to the clubs from ten until three in the morning. 

Then we all woke up, hungover in the poolhouse at my parents' house. We got brunch at Avery's, got our nails done, and then went to see a movie.
