There's no day that I don't visit Geenina's Cafè. And within those days, I never saw her again after the accidental meet up last two weeks ago.

"Double Shot Espresso for Mr. Shan." Called Kitty, the cashier of this Cafe. I stood up and smiled at her. "Still not going here?" I asked. She looked at me apologetically and shrug. "She said she's on a business trip and no one knows where."

"Up until now?" I asked and she nodded.

I sighed and smiled at her. Am I really that head over heels for her? Maybe yes. I was about to leave the cafe when she gets inside. Still beautiful as ever. I saw her gulp and blinked few times before walking towards me. "Geen?" I whispered.

"Don't call me that again. Or see me. Please." She said and walked ahead. It left me speechless. It left me pained.  She seems heartless. I left the cafe with a heavy heart. Well I guess I deserve that one. I don't know how much pain I caused her to be like that. I don't know how many days or months she cried for me— "Dr. Shandy?"

I turned around to see Bella with grocery bag on her hand. I gave her fake smile and helped her out. She thanked me afterwards and invited me for dinner. Which I accepted.

"Mama!" Shouted by a girl the moment we went inside her house. It was messy. A typical house with a kid inside. "Who is he?" Asked by the kid. She placed some of the grocery on the table and I followed. "He's one of my co workers. Greet him nicely. His name is Shandy." Bella explained.

The kid smiled at me and got greeted afterwards. The dinner went on until Snow's bed time. "You seem young to have a child." I stated. She chuckled and hand me a cup of coffee. "I do. I had her when I was around 16 years old. Teenage pregnancy and such. Then boom. But I didn't regret."

"She knows her father?" I calmly asked as I take a sip of coffee. She nodded. "Luckly. He's the hospital's operation head." I almost choked and I heard her laugh a little. "No kidding. It's him. He's 10 years older than me. I don't know what's gotten into me but yeah she happened."

"Plans on getting back? For the kid?" she shook her head. "Nah. I can raise her by myself. Besides, His father showered her some gifts and celebrations. So that kind of cover up his credit." I nodded.

"So what about you? Do you have a girlfriend or something?" she asked out of curiousity. "I don't have one. I am still waiting for someone up until now." I answered.

"Ah. The owner of the cafe?" I nodded. "No wonder. She's gorgeus and charming. How many years have you been waiting?"

I thought of it... how many? "I don't think I remember that well but I guess around 3 years? You know there's no closure happened between us. It's my fault anyways so this must be karma."

She shrugged, "I do think we make our own karma. And we should turn it as a challenge to face. It's not bad after all. But you know what? If you really want her. Pursue her even if she pushes you down but learn to get up when you don't want anymore and ran away."

The night with Bella was an eye opener. To pursue her more. I arrived at the hotel late at night. I saw her again on the front office desk.

"Don't call me that again. Or see me. Please."

She looked at me with those pair of eyes. Those brown orbs that I love. But I remembered what she said. I fixed myself and pressed the elevator button. I can feel she is staring at me. Why do you want to play push and pull, Geen? Why do you want to make this hard for the both of us?

"Hey Nina." I heard someone. As I turn around I saw someone who's much taller than me giving her smile and some paper bags which I assume some foods to eat. She said thank you afterwards and smiled back.

Before I enter the lift the man called me out, "Dr. Samhat? Is that you?" I smiled at him and he rushed towards me. "It's great to see you around." I looked at him. He's still wearing his coat. I checked on his name plate that says "Matteo Sy"

"It's a pleasure to see you here. I was looking forward to meet you these days but I happened to be on the graveyard shift. Too bad." he said. "Ah yeah. I was scheduled on the morning shift so that's like meeting halfway through. Anyway are you staying here?" I asked.

He shook his head, "Nah. I was just visiting my girlfriend." then he smiled. "Girlfriend?"

Don't tell me it's Geenina.  He then point out to her. "Soon to be girlfriend. Since I am courting her." he said as he chuckled. I nodded unknowingly.

"Oh look at the time. I must go. See you around, Dr. Shandy." he said and bid farewell to Geenina as well. I sighed and get on the lift afterwards.

You got yourself courted now, Geenina?
