Ch10: Surprise

I woke up at exactly 6am. I prep myself and waited for Veronica to come knock on my door. Minutes passed and she did. Walking with a backpack on, I smiled at her and she frowned at me. "What's with the smile, Mr. I'll take back what I lost" I nudge her lightly that causes her to trip a little. "Not funny. So where are we heading to?"

"By the beach. It's not far from here but yeah." she explained, "and you got yourself a partner in this case." I rolled my eyes and went inside the lift. "I really hate it when I got to work with other people."

"That's life, Mr. Smarty pants. Just be thankful that you get the chance to work with your partner." She deadpanned and walked out from the lift. I followed her footsteps and stopped for like a minute or so. "Here we are." she said.

I looked around to see that the beach is just located on the back part of the hotel. "Wow. It's far huh?" I sarcastically said. I placed my bag on the tent and let my make up artist do her work. After the make up, the team gave me a beach short to wear. "Just this one?" I asked Tony, the head executive or the clothing line. He chuckled and nodded, "your partner has the same reaction as you do." I sighed and went to change.

Veronica told me to follow her on the set, "You toned it too well." she said and tapped my arms. "Oh there she goes." I instantly followed her gaze and saw a beautiful lady, has the same height as Geenina. She's wearing a red two piece and a stilettò. I awkwardly divert my attention to the light post nearby. "Shandy, I want you to meet Natalie Hart. She's one of the famous actresses on the Philippines." I smiled at her and Tony continued on, "Natalie, this is Shandy, a doctor and our only ambassador for Indonesia." we shook hands and prepared for the shoot.

"Shandy you're too stiff! Loosen up a little!" Shouted by the photographer. I can't possibly loosen up because of her! Sorry Geenina for being a sinner. I'll wash my eyes later. I calmed myself and pulled her close to me.

"Good shot! Okay now, Natalie I want you to lean in a little on his neck. Shandy you look at the camera while holding her on the waist." shouted by Tony. We managed to do what was said but I had this little sweat on my forehead. She was leaning so close that I can feel her on my chest. Geenina, this is just work okay.

We finished the shoot at lunch which was the earliest in my record. Natalie was professional and can easily pick up instructions. "I think we have to do more shoots for Shandy and Natalie in the future." The photographer said. I smiled at him and he proceeded on uploading the pictures. I went outside to see the pictures and was pleased on how the motions and photographs went. I earned a tap on the back from Natalie and I greeted her as well.

Before I left the tent I got a phonecall from an unknown number.

"Hello?"
((Hey, Shandy. Can you fly home tonight?))
"Hey Geenina. What happened?"
((I need you now. Please.))

Then she hung up. I quickly get my bags and went to Veronica. "Hey, I need to go ahead of you." She gave me a confused look. "Why?"

"She needs me."
