GEENINA's POV

Autumn was declared in coma when she was transfered to the ICU. I was always there for every visiting hours, Shandy and Matteo on the other hand were glued to her since day one. I still didn't told him yet.

"Excuse me?" A lady with a blonde hair asked. A doctor as well. "You're Ms. Marquez right?" I nodded and she smiled. "Can I have a minute with you?" I agreed to her and she motioned me to come over her office.

"Have a sit." She said. As I sat down she gave me a pamphlet of another hospital. "If you would want to consider transferring Autumn to another hospital I would recommend that. See, uh— Dr. Sy and Dr. Samhat were one of the most valuable doctors in our institution. But lately, they've been declining other medical patients which requires their capabilities."

I am now confused. "Pardon?" I said. She smiled a bit and continued on her words, "I was saying... they didn't took any other patients to cure besides Autumn. They wanted to check her out 24/7 and make sure she gets better and that way, the board of directors have been following them and nagging them to let another doctor cure Autumn. But they refused to do so."

"Do you want me to transfer my child to another hospital just because you lost your reputable doctors? Are you out of your mind? My child, there in coma, inside the ICU needs medical attention from specialists. I don't care how much will the bill be, I want my child back." I exclaimed and went out of her office.

I hate her nerve to tell me what to do!
"Hey. Are you alright?" Shandy said when he saw me kicking the wall out of frustration.

"Have you and Matteo been neglecting patients the day Autumn was admitted?" He sighed and nodded his head. "But why?!" I semi shouted that made other patients shocked. He blew a sigh, "We both want to focus on Autumn for her fast recovery. Does it matter?" he said. "We want her safe. We both discussed it with our head surgeon and doctors. They're fine with it. When Autumn regain her strength and wakes up, we'll make it up for them." he added.

"But that doesn't mean you two could neglect other patients you have. They needed medical attention too" I said and sighed. "Nina? Did a blonde doctor talked to you?" out of nowhere, Matteo popped out behind me. I looked at him and nodded. He sighed and tap my head, "She's Bella and she's a good doctor but she have this superiority syndrome so she tends to feel upper at times—"

"She has one?" Shandy asked, confused. "That's what we call her. Don't budge. She's your friend after all." Matteo deadpanned and walked out. I turned to Shandy and looked at him, "Uhm, Shandy. Tell me when Autumn wakes up okay?"

He nodded. "You should go take some rest. Your parents said they will be here to look for Autumn. You don't need to worry, we'll handle it carefully okay? You can trust me and Matteo."

"Okay. I will. Uh— are you in good terms with him now?"

"With whom? Matteo? Ofcouse, for Autumn. Anyway, may I know who is Autumn to you? Is she your sister?"

I bit my lower lip and gulps. Should I tell him now? Should I tell him that Autumn is—

"Geenina? Hey. Darling you should take some rest. We can handle this along with your father. Just stay at home for awhile and rest. Please?"

I nodded and took my bag. Well, that's one of the best help my mom did. She is on time. Maybe not today, Shandy.
