Before I knew it my week was up and I had to fly back. As my brother drove me to the airport I cried and said I would get a flight tomorrow just so we could have more time together.

"I'll miss you but I want you to go back and have fun." he told me when I didn't want to get out of the car. "You're so much more confident now. You don't need me."

"Yes I do!" I sniffed, trying not to cry again.

"Well, I don't need you." he teased. "Now get out of my car."

"Hey!" I laughed.

I held his hand and sniffled as we walked to the check in desks. Although I wanted to go back to my job and to Josh I wanted to take my brother with me. He was my favourite person and I adored him.

"I won't let you stay. You've got a good job and someone who sounds like a great man. He'd better be good to get past me! You can tell him if he hurts you I'll be straight over to punch him so hard he can't sing." he told me.

After many hugs and promises to keep texting him about silly things he practically pushed me through the departure gate. I cried a bit more while I waited but had pulled myself together by the time I was on the flight. I was so exhausted so after some food I snuggled up under a blanket and managed to get a half decent sleep on the plane.

I was less emotional when the plane landed and headed to my apartment. It was the small hours of the morning and still dark outside but New York was just as loud as ever. I shut the door and headed straight to my bed to sleep until a more decent hour.

When I woke up I had a shower, some food and unpacked. At about mid afternoon I was rummaging through my handbags for one to use as an overnight bag. When I found one big enough I stuffed it with a few toiletries, clean underwear, some goodies from my family and, for good measure, my furry onesie.

I'd laid out a lacy lingerie set on my bed and bit my lip as I pondered it. I knew it was presumptuous and it wasn't a dead certain but I wanted to look good should the moment arise. I put them on and layered up with a long sleeved tshirt, the Phantom tshirt from Josh, velvet joggers from my mum and a fleece hoodie. Cosy but still classy.

Briefed with directions, I wrapped up in my coat and headed to Josh's apartment near Central Park. I text him to let him know I was on the way and it turned out he was out walking the dog. He told me where to meet them on the edge of the park. I stopped off at a store to buy ice cream and a take out for pizza and headed over to the park. I could see Josh bent over cuddling Sweeney as I approached and smiled.

"Hello boys!" I greeted them.

Sweeney tried to run to greet me, we'd met once before on set, and almost pulled the leash out of Josh's hand.

"Woah! Down boy! She's mine!" Josh told his dog.

"Did you miss me, cutie?" I cooed to Sweeney.

"I did but... oh, you're talking to him." Josh sighed with disappointment. "He always gets more ladies than me."

"You got me first though." I smiled. "Don't tell him but I like you more."

We greeted with a few kisses and then he took my bag and the grocery bag with ice cream. With my now free hand I unzipped my hoodie and with a smirk I opened it wide to show him my tshirt. He laughed and unzipped his hoodie too to reveal his tshirt.

"The Phantom of the Opera is here, inside my mind!" We both sang at the same time, making us laugh.

"Great minds think alike!" he laughed and gave me another kiss before he started walking. "I thought you said you can't sing then you belt out Phantom is the street."
