Hue hue hue...I need to sleep now XD.
Tori and her friends are visiting the nearby art gallery as part of their assignment given by Sikowitz. The snow outside rages on, gracing the ground in a thick blanket of white. A bitter air embraces the group, causing Cat to shiver dramatically as she sprints through the gallery doors. "It's not any warmer in here." André complains, wrapping his coat closer against his chest. "Who sends their pupils out in weather like this?"

"Are you really questioning Sikowitz?" Beck chuckles, surveying the vibrant main lobby of the gallery with a soft smile. "Last time I was here...I had to be about six."

"Yay, nostalgia." Jade grumbles, fixing her gloves around her hands. "Can we get this over with? I don't want to waste any extra time with you lot here than I need to."

"We love you too Jade." Rex spits, earning Robbie a thunderous thwhack to the back of his head. Rex laughs hysterically to himself as Robbie cowards like a turtle, rubbing his head with a grimace.

"I suppose we should split up?" Tori suggests. "We could get this done quicker?"

"I suppose we should split up?" Jade mocks with a smirk, which only grows wider after seeing Tori's clench her jaw.

"I don't talk like that!"

"Cat and I'll go this way toward the paintings." André informs them, chasing after the giddy redhead that's galloping away, purple giraffe in hand.

"Jade and..." Beck begins but quickly corrects himself once seeing Jade's glare. "Robbie and I will cover the second floor." Beck and Robbie begin heading toward the stairs at the far left, leaving Tori and Jade with an uncomfortable silence.

After a moment Tori begins to speak, "So..."

"Ughhhh!" Jade interrupts her, marching her way toward the elevator. Tori hesitantly follows, surprised to see Jade keeping the door open for her instead of leaving her stranded. "Get if before I let the door crush you already." Tori hastily hops in beside Jade, relief washing over her once hearing the catchy song playing from the built in radio.

Jade rests her arms on the railing with a sigh, closing her eyes while her brows furrow, seemingly in pain. Tori decides not to mention anything, not wanting to be killed the night before Christmas Eve - or as she calls it, 'Christmas Eve Eve.'

Suddenly there's a loud clank and the elevator comes to a violent halt. The lights shut off, leaving the girls in pitch black darkness. The radio begins to rumble angrily, static deafening their ears before an eery silence takes over.

Tori drops her hands from her ears, being mirrored by Jade. As her eyes begin to adjust to the darkness, the severity of the situation settles in. "Holy shit." Tori mumbles."Oh my God we're gonna die in here. We're gonna starve and die and worst of all...we'll miss Christmas!"

"Alright drama queen, calm your tits." Jade barks, though there's a hint of a chuckle in her voice. "The powers just died, they'll have a backup in a place like this." As if on cue, the lights flicker back on, causing Jade and Tori's eyes to strain for a moment. "See?" Tori remains silent, expecting the elevator to start up again, but nothing comes.

"Why aren't we moving? We should be moving!?" Tori begins to pace the small cubed space, Jade watching her with amusement.

"Wow Vega, I didn't take you for a 'scare of elevators' type." She grins, but quickly becomes dizzy from Tori's excessive circling. She grips her shoulders to halt the girl, turning her body to face her. "Quit it, you're hurting my head."

"Oh I'm sorry! At least I'm actually realising how bad this situation is!" Tori swats Jade's hands away in a panic, her breathing becoming irregular. Jade's eyes widen slightly, Tori's panicky demeanour beginning to infect her. "If the lights are on then why aren't we moving!?"
