Ello XD Random one shot since I am more than a little obsessed with Wanda Maximoff and Marvel in general atm!

Wanda comes to visit Y/N after some of the other Avengers captured and brought them to the Avenger's Tower.

Gender Neutral They/Them pronouns used throughout. :]

Frozen - both in undeniable fear and from the crisp air. Harsh concrete floor exaggerates the chilling temperature, heightening Y/N's shuddering. They're inside a 'mutant containment area,' - better known as a cell. Glass walls surround them from floor to ceiling, an all seeing view for any visitors. Despite reassurance from their captors that their new home was not a prison, Y/N can't help but feel trapped. Cursed to endure the barren décor and pitiful isolation for god knows how long.

No one's been down to visit since dinner time, in which a dyed red head presented a meal not so appetising for someone who had just been kidnapped for no known reason. 'Although, what need would they have to see me at this hour, really?' Y/N reminds themselves, laying solemnly on the bare mattress left out for them. Without a bed sheet to compliment it, the mattress is rough and the buttons symmetrically seamed into it jab at their back.

The fluorescent light above flickers erratically, a deafening buzz emitting for only the most sensitive of ears to hear. Y/N can't help but focus in on the noise, nothing else present to occupy their mind. The longer they think about it, the louder it gets. As if a swarm of bees were having a council meeting inside the light's casing.

"Urggh," Y/N trails a hand down their face, pushing themselves off their mattress and onto their feet. "Shut up already!" They yell, glaring at the light high above. "You'd think Iron Man would have enough human decency to put the light switch inside the cage, but nooo, I've gotta figure it out myself." Y/N squats, assuming a leaping position just below the light. "Whoop-tee-dee."

They launch themselves upwards, powerful legs allowing them to reach heights no average human could. They latch onto the ceiling, bare feet and hands holding place with the help of microscopic hairs incomprehensible to the naked eye. Situated comfortably beside the light, they lift their hands off the ceiling. Hanging like a sleeping bat, Y/N examines the light's casing, trying to find the safest way in. In reality, safety wasn't their priority, gaining attention from any of the Avenger mere floorboards above was the main concern. They had such intimidating demeanours...well, except for the Spider, he acted a bit like a teen. 'Maybe he is?' Y/N contemplates.

"Come on, can't you just shut it?" Y/N fumbles about with the casing, trying uselessly to pry it off with their hands despite the obvious need for a screwdriver. By now the buzzing had engulfed their whole being. Nothing else is comprehensible, all there is, is...bzzzzzz...bzzzzzz...bzzzzzz. Y/N converted to blindly smacking the light, overstimulation blinding their rationality. bzzzzzz...bzzzzzz...BZZZZZZ!

"What are you doing up there?" An unfamiliar accent fills Y/N's ears, startling them so much they forget to grip the ceiling and crash to the floor with a sickening thud. "Oh shi- I'm so sorry, are you okay?" The women quickly taps on the glass, entering a security code on what seems to be a digital lock. A small rectangular opening is lifted in the surrounding walls, allowing her to slip into the room before closing again behind her. She sets down the two mugs she had in her hands and comes to Y/N's side, helping them to their feet.

"I didn't mean to startle you so! That sounded harsh, are you okay?" Y/N regains focus from their momentary shock of adrenaline. They peer up at the red headed women, her eyes are searching them for any wounds.

"I'm okay, thank you." Y/N reassures them, shifting back slightly to allow a more comfortable space between them both. The women drops her hands from Y/N. "I was trying to stop the noise."
