I feel warm. I start opening my eyes, but it was to bright so I closed them again. I open my eyes, and close them to adjust to the light.
I was confused for a second, but what happened last night came at me in waves. I suddenly bolt up, but the pain though not as bad, was still very painful.
I regret getting up so fast. Dizziness hits with some nausea to add to the mix. I look to the side and see the deer quickly come near me.
"Master! Be careful your running a fever, and the damage you took from forcefully healing me is still healing." I heard it's voice in my head. The deer had a worried look on it's face, which confused me.
I tried to speak but my throat was hurting, probably from puking blood last night. I tried to speak, but the deer stoped me." Master don't speak I'll explain everything later. For now try to climb on my back I'll try to take you to where you live. " I never liked depending on others, but with there pleading tone I gave in and nodded my head.
The deer laid on the ground so I could easily get on it's back. I grit my teeth to bear with the pain and clumsily got on it's back.
" Master point to the direction you need me to go in, okay? " I now it's a question to see if I can do it. I again do a clumsy nod.
I point backwards to the route I usually take. I point in the right directions. I look at the sky and see the sun is almost in the the middle of the sky, indicating it's almost noon.
I look at the deer, I don't know what to do with this situation. It's calling me master, also it looked at me sadly and looked concerned. At this point I'm really confused. The only thing I can do is wait for an explanation later.
I sigh to myself. I feel awful, I have a fever with this annoying pain. The pain is mostly on my stomach where the deers injury would be, but it's spread to most of my body.
I try to look at other things to distract myself from the pain in my body. I look at the greenery around within the forest. Since were more in the center there's not a lot of magical beasts around specially with the spell on me.
Which begs the question why is the deer here in the first place. Now that I think about it this spell keeps powerful magical beasts away, so is this deer weak, or is it not a magical beast. This spell it you think about it has many loop holes and things like that if you think creatively.
I'm also getting tired of calling the deer, deer, or it. When I can speak again I'll probably talk to it a lot. Where getting close to my home. We get to the small rock mountain.
It starts giving me a sceptical look. I point again, I think I heard it mumble. "Okay?"
We get to the front of the mountain. I pointed strait ahead. The deer looks at me and gives me a deadpan face. It reminded of the look I had when I first found this place. I had to hold my laughter in because I didn't want to damage my throat.
I smiled wanting to laugh and pointed my finger at the wall again. It kept glancing at me but walked forward anyway.
It got through the illusion and walked in my home. It looked amazed and walk in the house. I could tell it wanted to explore but it held it in and asked if I had a resting place.
I pointed in my bedrooms direction. It walked in my bedroom. I pointed to my bed. It gently walked towards my bed and moved next to my bed to i can roll off and stay on my bed.
I didn't care to much about the dirt and everything on me at the moment and laid on my bed. I was warm so pointed to the window to see if it could open it.
It opened the window and asked little few questions about my well-being. I pointed towards my closet so I can change into something comfortable. I pointed to my throat, it seemed to understand and found a canteen of water. It also brought a bucket of water and a rag.
Though painful I drank some water and wiped myself down the best I could. I started with my hair, face arms, legs, chest. The deer looked slowly when I cleaned myself and looked quite shocked when he saw all the scars on me.
I was finishing wiping myself when the deer looked at me and softly said, "Are you okay?" I said the best answer I could think of and said yes.
I don't think it bought it, but it let the subject go for now.
I changed into my pajamas and laid in bed. The deer was at my side and I was annoyed at calling it an it so I decided it was okay to talk for now.
My voice sounded hoarse but I was able to at least ask for it's gender. It looked surprised and said "oh, I'm male master." Well now I can finally stop calling him an it, I thought.
Since I can't talk much I just asked a two simple words, "explain please." He looked quite taken aback and smiled. I randomly though he could show a lot of emotions for a deer. " Oh course master! " he exclaimed happily.
