chapter 19 Oops

Hello everyone, I'm happy to announce my school year is almost done. I'm very excited because I'll be able to update a lot more. With that also, I edited a lot of the story if you wanted to know, I changed nothing so no worries just made corrections on words and such. Also I never expected this many reads!! Bang bang bang

I woke up with banging on my door. I was startled so I almost fell off the bed. "Coming, I'll be there in a minute!"
I said in a groggy cold morning voice.

I sat on the bed hunched over rubbing my eyes. I looked over on my bed to see Fai curled up, looking up lazily. I couldn't help but chuckle a small bit.

"Fai you can go back to bed, I'll go check on them." Fai put his head down, his only response was a huff. He isn't really a morning person.

I paid attention to the room, it was a little cold with the window open. The room was brighter than normal. I probably slept in longer than usual.

I closed the window and quickly got dresses. I opened the door which squeaked a little.

I went to the living room to see all four there. Edrick is scowling like usual, Kaden is just passively sitting on a chair, Evin is just singing in a soft hum. Aedus waved at me as I walk forward.

"You need anything?" I asked. Edrick somehow scoweled even more??? "We're hungry", he said rather bluntly.

I felt a tick mark on my forehead. I sighed like I do everyday. "I'll make something, wait for a little bit."

Aedus had stars in his eyes, "thank you!!!" A range of thank yous ran through the room.

"Yeah, yeah," I said with a soft unusual warmth. I walked to the kitchen and grabbed some eggs and bacon.

After a half an hour of cooking and hungry stares, I set the food on the table.

They all walked in there own paces. They all sat on a chair getting ready to eat. They ended up doing the spoon thing again...which I ignored. They looked at me weird, but I didn't care.

They finished up and before they could say anything I took there plates. There was a little disagreement but I ignored them.

I waved them off while washing the plates. Fai came in and rubbed his head on my stomach. After I finished with the dishes I let his head.

With Fai I walked over to the living room to see how much Aedus has healed. I walked over and asked how he was doing.

"Oh I'm doing fine, thank you I'm in your debt." He gave me a thankful grin. Evin smiled at me. Kaden gave a small thank you. Edrick clicked his tongue saying a small thank you.

'Why is Edrick such a tsundere? Geez man.'

I almost chuckle.

"It's no problem, are you fully healed or do you need more time?" Aedus looked at me, "no, the potion I had helped heal me quickly!" Dang, this guy is too cheerful.

"Are you ready to go today or tommoro?" I couldn't help but have sorry leak through my words.

"Oh, I think I'm ready to go today." Aedus smiled at me again. "Tell me when you're ready to go", I said.

I walked away with Fai. I went to the kitchen to clean, after that I went to different rooms of the house to clean. Fai stayed with the others to watch over.

I was tidying up when I heard a knock on the door, I thought it was Fai so I said "come in",while humming to myself. I didn't look behind me as heard the door open. I didnt think much because Fai could get in on his own.... I should have checked....

I didn't have my cloak on. I had a long sleeved shirt and long pants on. I thankfully had my bandana on.

I didn't hear anything behind me so, I turned around. Eric was there. He looked at me eye wide. We both had this silent staring contest of shock. I heard Fai fun near the door way, he pushed Edrick in and closed the door.

Edrick kept gaping his mouth. "Y-y-your'e a-a kid." He paused his eyes went to my hair. A pained look spread on his face. "Whitish silver hair", he said in almost a whisper.

I sighed. I walked to him. Before he could react I cast a spell on his head. "Forget", "faint". I used both my light, and dark magic. I made him forget past thirty seconds and gave him a dose of light magic to fall asleep or faint for a while.

I fell to the ground. Fai ran up to me in tears. ' I'm sorry Simon, I wasn't paying attention. By the time I sensed him he was by the door.'

"Its alright", I weased out. 'I hope.'
