chapter 20 Good Riddance

I stared at Edrick not knowing what to do. Thankfully an idea poped in my head. I put on my cloak and opened the door to find everyone else. I felt a bit faint from using too much magic. I'd definitely get a fever later.

Fai followed in tears. I went to the others. "Edrick fainted in my room", I said with no emotion. "Huh" they all day in there own tones confused. "Come see", I waved at them to follow.

They stared at each other confused. They followed me into my room. Aedus shaked Edrick worridly. " I think he's okay from what I've seen, he's just exhausted. There's no fever, I checked." Aedus sighed in relief. I coughed hardly. The exhaustion is getting too me already.

Aedus and even the others looked quite worridly at me. "Are you okay?" I replied with, "I'm okay, grab Edrick let him sleep for a while." I waved his concern off, but I felt a little happy for someone being concerned about me. 'Wait no, I'm too selfish. Idiot stop thinking like that.'  Fai stared at me worridly.

I frowned to myself. They put him in the guest room bed. The room looked like my room except smaller, and there's no grass on the floor or a window, there also two queen beds.

When they put him down I asked, "so did he need me for anything? He came into my room, but fainted." I don't know if it's a good or bad thing that I'm a really good lier.'

Evin replied to me, "he was going to tell you we were ready to go, I guess plans changed." "Oh, I see," I responded with.

Aedus looked at me, he looked down, then put a finger on his chin. "Can I ask your name if not, can I ask some random questions? I won't make them personal."

I have a quick questionative hum. 'If I said my name I'd like it to be later.'  " You can ask some random questions if you like."

Aedus looked excited, while the others looked intrigued. " I really wanted to ask about the Moon Stones! I've never seen them be used so complex. I was wondering why they were so bright,  I tapped it and it became dim. It was so cool!! Also what's with the grass floor in your room-." Aedus kept rambling, I was getting dizzy from over use of my power, so I tried to cut him off but before I could, Evin chopped his head with her hand.

I sweatdrop. "Thank you Evin." I nodded at her and she nodded back.  I was about to answer the questions when I saw Edrick ster. That caught everyone's attention.

Aedus became surprisingly serious. "Edrick are you okay." Edrick looked around confused. "What happened," asked Edrick. Before anyone could respond I answered. " You came into my room trying to tell me something, but before you could you fainted." Edrick clicked his tongue. " I don't remember."

Before anyone could reply I said, " I can give you a small ounce of a healing potion. You seem find over all, but just in case." 'I need to at least try to help so they won't be suspicious of me.' Aedus looked at me. "If you're sure it will cause no problems.  You said though it's mostly exhaustion, so if you truly don't think he needs it we wouldn't want to waste it." He looked at me seriously.

"It's alright I can spare some. I'm just giving him a small dosage just in case. He doesn't remember, that in itself is a little worrying. In all it will do some good either way." Aedus looked at me gratefully. The others were giving me thankful looks, even Edrick slightly. "Alright, just a little bit," Aedus said softly.

I looked at Fai who was looking at us on the side. "Fai can you go grab a small dosage of a healing potion." I pet his head. Fai nodded and left. The others didn't say anything as most people with magical beasts order them to do things.
