chapter 8 Money and wings?!

Sorry for the late update again I was with people so I wasn't in the situation where I could write.😅

Although it was nice seeing there are some merchants around I still need to figure out the money here.

I got back to the house and say on my bed reading the manual finding the money chapter. I then head to the storage room and see the money. I read the manual, and I think I grasp the concept quite well.

Okay there are three of coins, copper, silver, and gold. Copper is used usually by poor and middle class families. The silver is used by middle class and nobility. Lastly the silver and gold is used by nobility and royalty.

A fifty copper coins is a silver coin. Fifty silver coins is a gold coin. The copper coins are used to by cheaper things like, some cheaper clothes and food. The silver are used for bigger items like furniture or repairing houses also for farmers even livestock.

Gold is used for more extravagant things. For example, when you see rich people having really decked out items that are not needed but are fun. Things like pools or chandeliers. There not needed, but it's more of a why not thing.

I go see how much money I have. I look on the floor and sigh. There's so much and I don't want to count it. I pout to myself.

I sorted through it all. There is three hundred copper coins, fifty silver coins, and five gold coins. I'm glad about this, this will last a while if a don't lavish myself with stuff.

I'll probably go tomorrow to the merchant cart buying stuff, and getting information. I don't know about the seasons yet, or the weather. I'll ask about how to tell the time here to, I can kind of tell with the sun, but it's not accurate.

Later that day I try to practice magic more. I practice all the elements except dark and light. I first want to get good at the beginning of magic. I think about what I read about my body and how I have the angels blood in my gains of whatever.

The original never knew about it, because he was always to weak and never had enough strength to practice magic.

I should probably try to summon the angels wings or something like that. I look in the manual for more information.

It seems that usually the kids of the clan get there wings at eight but the original body never knew or had the strength to try and use them.

It seems the way to summon them is like trying to do normal magic, but on your back... WHAT TYPE OF EXPLANATION IS THAT, like seriously!! I touch my temples were my glasses used to be.

Well my quote is always 'well whatever' so can't be helped. I try as the book says but I feel nothing.

I try again moving the shoulder blades a little. I imagine wings appearing in my mind. I feel there's a heaviness to my back but not much. I look back and see wing thought not big there but enough for this body.

The surprising thing though is... Ones black, the other white. 'WHAT MY WHOLE BODY PRETTY MUCH REPRESENTS THE YING AND YANG THEME.' I yell in my mind. Though I'm annoyed, if you pay attention to my eyes and the wings theme it gives off a ying and yang vide.

I just concentrate on my wings for now giving up my internal conflict. I study the wing, I do have to say, there beautiful. Ones bright white, while the other dark is night. The wings have a feathers it makes it look like original depiction of Angel wings.

They a little longer then my shoulders and the height goes up to my head. There fine with the size of my body. It seems like they grow with my.

I also realize to be healthier i first need to get the malnutrition out of the way and the under weight look I have. Also see if there's something to heal some scars.

I focus again in my wings but realize... How do I put my wings away?

I learn how to put away the wings, all I did is imagine them going back into my shoulder blades and they were gone. Well I better get some sleep I'm exhausted from yesterday night and today with everything I did.

Thankfully I fell asleep without trouble that night.

Sorry about the money. I could only to with that because I couldn't think of anything else, but I think it worked out okay. Also for Simons scars here's a better explanation. So he said he had some scars on him self from his original body, well when he transmitted into the body it looked way more like him and some of the features from his last life came over. When the original body's was birthed he had blue eyes and light brown hair but it didn't look exactly like him. There be more explanation in the story later.
