Landed. Man! We just landed.
"No more grumpy papi?" Says Von, naglalakad kami to the immigration.
"Syempre papi, dito na tayo eh." I handed my passport to the officer. Pagkatapos dumiretso na ko sa carousel. I called Mom while waiting for our bags.
"You got your bags?" Mom asked.
"Not yet Mom, still waiting for it." Tinapik ako ni Arvin, kakatapos lang niya sa immigration tumayo siya beside me, Thirdy and Von. Tumango lang ako sa kanya.
"We're here sa letter R!"
"Si Kuya na yan?" I heard Dani, maya maya siya na ang kausap ko.
"Kuya welcome back! I'm excited to see my pasalubongs!"
"Yun lang!" Tumawa ako.
"Sus! Okay, I'll hand her the phone now. Alam ko namang siya ang gusto mo makausap!"
"Thanks Dan!" Narinig ko kinausap niya si Mika, tumawa pa si Mika kasi inasar niya.
"Hi." She said.
"I miss you so much!"
"Yun oh!" That's Arvin, nangaasar pa sila.
"Si Arvin yun?" Tanong ni Mika.
"Yeah, mga siraulo tong mga to."
"Sige na bilisan mo jan."
"Wala bang i miss you back jan?" Pang-aasar ko.
"Sus! Alam mo na yun." I let out a chuckle. Nahihiya to kasi andun sila Mommy.
"I wanna hear it."
"Don't push it." She said with a laugh. Sus, pikon.
"Bro, here's our bag na!" Nakita na namin palabas yung luggages namin.
"Bhie, kiss you later ah. Bye!"
"Baliw mo. Bye!" Sigurado namumula yun by now. Hehehe
Kinuha namin yung luggages and went out of the airport. Si Thirds na nagtulak ng trolley. We searched for letter R, and saw Dani waving at us so eagerly.
Naghiwa-hiwalay na kami ng ibang team mates.
"Wow ah, balik-bayan lang?" Thirdy joked. Si Mika nakatayo lang dun, smiling at me, at us.
I kissed Mom on the forehead, hugged Dad, kissed Dani when we reached them. Yung bags kinuha na nung driver at nilagay sa likod.
Hinarap ko si Mika, we're just looking at each other. Inipit ko sa tenga niya yung nakaharang na buhok.
"You missed me?" I said in a low voice. Tumango lang siya.
"I miss you too." I kissed her forehead and hugged her close to me. I felt her hug me back. Nagsway pa ko while hugging her.
"Finally, I'm home." I whispered in her ear and kiss her hair. She snuggled her face against my chest, naramdaman kong nagsmile siya kaya ang laki din ng ngiti ko.
"Enough na yan lovebirds!" Sigaw ni Thirdy. Lahat pala sila nasa kotse na, namula tuloy si Mika and slightly punched me.
"Nakakahiya."
"Miss kita eh. Okay lang yan!" Kinuha ko yung kamay niyang nasa dibdib ko and intertwined it with mine. Hinila ko na siya papasok sa kotse.
We are seated at the back, I'm holding her close to me.
"Aren't you tired? That was a long trip." Mika whispered in my ear. My head's on her shoulder and I'm playing with our hands.
"I am."
