Sobrang kulit ni Kiefer lately, thank God hindi sobrang hectic ng schedule namin for training at naiisqueeze in ko lahat. Daughter, Ate, friend, athlete and fiancé duties. Imagine the struggle?
"Yes babe, I'm on my way. Sinabi ko naman kasi sayo to stop accepting everybody's invites. Yan napapala mo ngayon!" I scold him while getting in my car.
Kakahatid ko lang kay Miko sa bahay after picking him up from school, tapos diretso na ko sa condo ni Kiefer kasi may sakit. Tita Mozzy called me earlier and told me to look after the latter she even joked about Kiefer acting up so I'll attend to his needs. Ang kulit lang.
I just dropped by a Chinese restaurant along the way to buy a soup I could feed him since hindi ako marunong magluto and I don't want to give him anything inedible.
I parked my car next to his, the guards need not see my id and they know my usual parking slot. One of them waved at me and I waved back, even the lady at the reception area didn't bother asking nor looking for my identification.
"Ma'am, nakabalik na pala kayo." She politely greeted me, I answered yes and smiled back.
I went inside the elevator and to his unit. I searched for the key in my sling bag found, it and inserted it in the hole.
"Ye?" I frowned when I heard someone called my name.
"Uy, ikaw nga. Naks! Independent? Living alone ka na?" He said, I smiled at him and he kissed me on the cheek.
"Hey! Kamusta na? Long time Jared ah!" I greeted him.
"I didn't know you live here." I told him. Jared is a long time friend of mine, well we used to date but that's ancient already. And we had a nice closure, mutual decision.
"Kakalipat lang, 2 doors away from you." Sabi niya while pointing out where his unit is.
"Ahh, nice. Di ako dito nakatira, this is Kiefer's unit." I grin at him. I'm not sure but I think I saw his smile drop a little then back at it again.
"Wow, tagal niyo na ah." He commented.
"Yeah, napagtiisan ako." I said and shrugged my shoulders. He smirked at me.
"Such a lucky guy. Well, see you around Ye!" Jared said before leaving.
I am about to turn the knob to open the door when someone from the inside did it for me. None other than, Kiefer.
"I knew I heard you. Sino kausap mo?" He said and look around then stare at me again when saw the hallway empty.
"Jared, I didn't know he lives here too." I responded as I march with him inside the condo.
"Jared? Jared Lingat?" He asked, brows raised.
"Yeah." I answered nonchalantly. I went straight to his kitchen to prepare the food I bought for him.
"Got you some chinese." I announced, Kiefer followed me and sat in one of the chairs inside.
"Ahh.. So? Anong pinagusapan niyo?" I know I sense something with that tone and question of him.
I smiled secretly, someone's getting jealous. Slowly I turned around and found him pouting like a big baby.
"Wala naman masyado.." Kunyari hindi ko nararamdaman that he's upset about Jared, I walked closer to where he's sitting and stopped right in front of him.
