Kanina sinundo niya ako from our house in Manila, I asked him to. We scheduled a date today, ilang araw na lang kasi aalis na sila papuntang Korea for series of games.
Kanina pa siya kinakabahan because it's not everyday I get to do something like this to surprise him.
The thing is, he won't be here for Valentine's Day and ever since we started off we always, always find ways to celebrate it. Kahit noong jailed pa ko because of volleyball season.
I remember celebrating our first V Day, we have two upcoming games that week mejo crucial pa because we'll be facing Ateneo too. None of us, except Kim who was announced player of the game during our last play against UE, is allowed to stay out pero dahil parehas kaming makulit we found a way.

I answered his facetime request.
"Saan ka?" Forehead creased because he's in a place somewhat familiar to me.
"I miss you." He said not answering my question.
"Miss you too pero nasaan ka nga?" Mejo tumaas ang kilay ko because it's almost midnight pero parang wala siya sa bahay nila.
"Andito kung saan nasaan ang puso ko." Natawa ako sa sinabi niya.
"Ang korn-" And then I realized, he's just outside my dorm.
"Andito ka?!" I exclaimed, wide eyes.
"I'm hoping I could at least have a glimpse of you before I sleep." I'm already making my way out, I am very careful baka may magising eh.
"Ikaw talaga, what did Tita said?" I could see him laughing at me, naglalakad ako ng dahan dahan and my voice is so low dahil kapag nahuli ako nila Coach baka di ako lalo makalabas.
"I bought them pizza. Saka nagpaalam naman ako kay Mama. B, nahihilo ako sayo." Hindi ko napigilan natawa na ako sa remark niya. Paano naman kasi lumulusot ako palabas ng dorm.
Buong ingat kong sinara ang pintuan, akala ko success na ko sa ninja moves.
"Ye, anong oras na ah." Shit. I froze.
Si Coach.
"Tay..." I used my sweetest voice and cutest face I could for coach to spare me. Naririnig ko si Kiefer sa kabilang linya.
"Shit. Natrouble ka ba? B, kung papagalitan ka wag ka na lumabas." I removed my earphones and faced coach.
"Coach... 30 minutes?" Kabadong kabado ako lalo na nung tinignan niya ang wrist watch niya.
