Triggers: Abuse

Logan and Patton have been driving for a little while and they soon got to the mall.
"Where do you wanna stop first? H&M?" Logan asked.
"Yeah why not?" Patton said grabbing his hand and walking into H&M. They saw a clutter of freshman and as soon as they saw me and Patton walk in they started whispering to each other, giggling and blushing. Both men were undoubtedly attractive so at that point they were used to being hit on by girls. Especially freshmen. They walked into the men's section to find almost Hawaiian shirts since it was mid summer and it was hot in Florida.
"What do you think of this one." Patton asked Logan.
"I think you look good in anything love, it depends what you think you look like in it." Logan responded.
"Can you come with me?" Patton asked grabbing his hand and racing into the dressing room.

30 minutes later, 3 bags of clothes and giggling freshman stopping Patton.
"Hi,um I'm July!" The girl named July stated.
"And I'm gay. See you later July." Patton said grabbing the bags with one hand and Logan's hand with his open hand and went over to Forever 21.

About 2 hours, later they returned home with many many bags of clothes for the new school year. Logan would eventually have to go home though, it sucked for both him and Patton. They both hated the fact that his parents didn't accept him for who he wanted to be and that they only wanted Logan to be who he is under their criteria.
"Love, I think I need to go back home." Logan said to Patton.
"Okay. Be safe, I love you." Patton said giving Logan a quick peck on the lips before him grabbing his bags and heading out the door into his car.
"I love you too dear." Logan said.

Logan was driving back to his house tearing up, he never wanted to leave Patton, but his parents would call the cops, they have before. He unlocked the door and his father was waiting there for him.
"Where the hell have you been? You have really upset your mother." He said angrily.
"I was out, with my amazing boyfriend. Something that you will never be able to see since your so blind to our love." Logan said.
"Apologize right now." His father said.
"I don't have to apologize for shit." Logan said. His father slapped him hard.
"Watch your language boy." His father said. Logan held his cheek.
"Whatever." Logan said walking to his room with his bags.

Logan took all of his clothes that he bought and started putting them away. He was crying so hard. He couldn't say he hated his parents because they weren't always this way. He put his AirPods in and started listening to An Evening I Will Not Forget from Dermont Kennedy, he could relate to the song so much. This for sure was an evening he would not forget with Patton.
