I had my arms wrapped tightly around Luce waist, her hands grasping to the back of my neck.
"Niall, I'm you're only going to be gone for a few hours." she exclaimed.
"A few hours is too long for me, I wish you could join me."
She shook her head, "No, you need to spend time with the lads, they haven't had a chance with you because of me."
"But what if they start asking questions about you, how can I lie, I'm not a very good liar?"
"Then don't," my eyes widened at her unexpected answer, "Niall, after everything, the last situation you want is to lie to their faces."
She was right, I don't want to cause more trouble by lying, they would never trust me ever again. Besides I'm a terrible liar, it's very obvious. "You might as well tell them everything, they have been your friends for a very long time, they won't hate you if you told the truth. I don't care what they think of me."
I nod my head, "You're right, I'll tell them tonight." I move in to kiss her when an annoying honking sound interrupted us. I growl, knowing Liam was at the abandoned school parking lot, getting very impatient. I glance at Luce once more, ignoring Liam's constant car horn. "I'll see you later Angel." She laughs in response at her nickname, then hold the back of my neck to pull me towards her face, kissing me gently with her smooth, soft lips.
"It's gonna take some time to get use to that name." She grins, lingering her lips on mine once more. "Bye."
She skips her way to the car, Liam holding the door open for her, after he got into his car, they drove off. I waved my hand hoping she saw my movement in the mirror.
"NIALL!!!!" I frown in confusion and spun around, only to be tackled onto the grass by none other than my best friends: Harry, Zayn, and of course Louis, who started tickling my sides until I couldn't breath.
"Come on lads, he's losing air!" I mentally praise Zayn for pushing off the other two idiots who thought it would be funny that I die laughing hysterically. Once I got my breathing back to normal, Harry lend me his hand to pull me back up on my two feet. I glare at Louis, knowing it was his idea; but he only smiled even more wide and pulled me into a bone crushing bear hug.
"I'm so excited, Niall finally gets to hang out with the cool kids for once."
"No complaints here." I mumble under my breath bitterly.
"Oh hush, you know you missed us, huh Ni?" Harry says, styling his hair back into a perfect quiff.
"I will admit, it does feel good to hang out with you guys once more." I smile, they did the same, their eyes gleaming with joy.
"Well, we should hurry if we want to make it on time, Liam wanted us over at three thirty, and we still need to get some drinks." Zayn pulls out his car keys, jiggering them in his hand.
"Drinks?"
"Yeah, you know, some beer and snacks." Louis replies following Zayn to his car.
"Oh." Was all I said. I wasn't sure if I should drink tonight; though I haven't had a nice cold beer for a while, so I guess it wouldn't hurt.
"Hurry up Ni!" I jump towards the van and climbed in.
************
After we went to the nearest grocery store, and grabbed a pack of beer, some chips, and other treats; we drove to Liam's house a little late, because f that we made Zayn drive through a red light and go ten miles over the speed limit. Right now it was currently 3:45, we were fifteen minutes late.
