My eyes opened halfway, to lazy to move. I realized that this place wasn't my room. I opened my eyes completely to see the decaying of the ceiling. Where am I? I thought.

Flashes of memory ran through my mind like lightning: The dance, Luce, rain, Luce, the kiss, and Luce. I tried to move a bit only to feel a pair of arms around my torso.

I turned to see Luce still fast asleep, cuddling close to my bare chest. I pulled out my phone silently, to see that I have twenty missed calls from Nan and Paul, and few messages from Liam and Zayn. I saw the time, I was late for work this morning.

I quickly, but carefully slipped out of her arms, earning a little groan from her sleeping figure. I leaned in towards her and kissed her lips ever so gently. I grabbed my clothing, taking one last glance at her before running out of the building.

"Niall, where in the hell were you!" Paul said, nearly breaking my eardrums.

"I'm sorry Paul that I was late, I just forgot to set my alarm." I left out the part that I stayed overnight with the most beautiful girl in the world, if I told him that he would take it the wrong way.

"Alright fine, but the next time you plan on being late, you're out of here." he said, then strolled off leaving me with a cart full of records and CD's to stack.

I started pushing the cart to the aisles where they were labeled an artist. I pulled out my IPod and started my usual play list. I kept thinking about Luce, everything that she went through as a kid was so heartbreaking. The thought of a little girl crying in the corner made my grip the handle bars tightly until my knuckles turned white.

I kissed her, and she kissed me back. I smiled and flushed at the memory, hoping no one was near to see my reaction. I felt bad for leaving without a proper goodbye this morning, but I was in a rush, I didn't even think about it.

Is she worried about me? I hope that she is okay, living there, How can she deal with it? I could help her somehow, I don't know what to do, all I know is that I should help her.

I felt a tap on my shoulder. I pulled the earplugs out and turned. Luce stood there in sweatpants and wearing my hoodie. I smiled until I noticed her eyes were red rimmed, she smiled back trying to hide her sadness.

"What's the matter?" I asked. She didn't say anything she only jumped into my arms and kissed me.

I immediately kissed back, feeling the electric heat in my mouth. But before I could deepen it, she pulled away still hugging me.

"I thought it was all a dream." she whispered, "When I woke up, you were gone and I thought I was going crazy and I was scared that you would ignore me." she squeezed me even tighter, I squeezed back to comfort her.

"I'm sorry, I f I had the choice, I would've stayed with you." I kissed her temple before looking at her once again.

"How about this? Come back in a few hours and I will take you to this cafe in town, my treat." I smiled at her. She nodded. "Sure," she said, "I'll see you in a couple of hours." she kissed lips then fled from the store. I went back to stacking the shelves with a happy, ludicrous smile spread across my face.

I sat in the booth of the cafe waiting for Luce. She's changed in a good way, she seems more lively, as if the world was lifted off her shoulders.

"Niall?" I heard a soft voice, I looked up to see Luce, her blue eyes gleaming with a smle even if she didn't wear anything special. She sat down in the cushioned seat across from me. I already ordered a frappe of my choice, hoping she would like the taste.
