After we watched the Disney movie, Bambi, Luce never saw it until now, we pulled out the cake balls that were perfectly round and stiff, and covered them with melted white chocolate chips, then let them sit for a few minutes.
"OK, you ready for your first taste Angel?" She nods eagerly, "Close your eyes and open your mouth." She obeys, shutting her mouth wide.
I place a little white ball unto her lips, she bites down and chews on it slowly, observing the taste.
"Well?" She opens her eyes and smiles, still chewing on the little treat.
"You're right, this tastes amazing." She opens her mouth again and I feed her the rest of the ball. She grabs one and feeds me the sweet chocolate dessert.
"Thanks Angel." We see car lights shining through the window. "They're here." I frown, my excitement died down.
"Hey," she kisses my temple,"I want you to smile, I love your smile." she says, I smile, my excitement showing once more.
We hear the door unlock and turn our heads. Nana and the rest came back from dinner. "Hello!" Nana yelled.
"Hey, what took you so long?" Luce asked.
"Well, Denise wanted to shop for little Theo here, and spent what felt like hours trying to find the perfect toy for him." Greg answered, staring at me quizzically, I stare him back.
"So what have you two been up to?" nana asked, she took all of their jackets and moved it to the closet.
"Just chilled, watched a movie and cooked." Luce answered.
"Really, what did you make?"
"Cake balls." I smile at her.
"Cake balls?" Greg jumped in, "I love those, I remember when me and Niall would make them over Christmas break." He said to his wife.
I felt myself tense, "They're in the fridge if you want any." I say through my gritted teeth.
"No, no!" Nana yells," we are saving those for the feast tomorrow."
"Can't wait, it's gonna be the best," he says, he suddenly yawns cupping his hand over his open mouth as his eyes squeezed shut. "But for now, I am really, really, exhausted."
"We should all retire for the evening, we have a big day tomorrow and I wouldn't want to miss a thing."
We all set our date nights and moved to our bedrooms for the night.

Luce and I woke up the next morning, got dressed in our pathetic looking sweaters that Nana told us to wear.
Nana used to make Luce a mud colored yarn handmade sweater with a little orange pumpkin and a green leaf vine, curled, and twisted all the way to the top of the round pumpkin, and boy did she looked like a toddler in her mother's clothing, and boy did she look absolutely adorable; I can't wait until Christmas.
I wear one of the sweaters I wore year after year. Much more uglier than I remember, my dark green sweater with a turkey on it, fluffy with colorful feathers and a pilgrims hat on its head.
I frown when she starts laughing at my shirt. "I know it's funny, but it is not hilarious!"
"I'm sorry, it's just so adorable, just like you." she holds onto me from behind.
"No Angel, look at yourself, you are so very cute." I turned around to admire her loose curls and baggy shirt that hung at the top of her thighs and sleeves an inch longer than her hand.
She blushes, grasping onto my hand firmly as we jumped down the stairs.
"Now remember, we Horans spend our holiday is very weirdly." I say, she nods understanding what I mean.
"Good morning!" I hear a tiny boys in the kitchen, knowing it was Nana.
"Morning Nana!" I go back at her and so does Luce, rushing to give her a warm hug as Nana gave me four granola bars.
"What's for breakfast?" Luce asks.
"There's your breakfast right there." nana pointed to the granola bars lodging in my hand. I chuckle at Luce's confused expression.
"We don't need much more rigorous and lunch, so that we can eat a lot of the feast." She forms an 'O' shape with her mouth, "told you we do holidays different, but that's just the start." I say. I gave her two of the granola bars and started munching on the chocolate chip and honey oats.
"Are Greg and Denise awake?" Luce questions.
"Yes, and they are waiting for us." Nana replies.
"They are? For what?"
I smile, "You'll see."

We hop out of the car, our coats on in case it starts to snow.
"Where are we?" I turned to Luce, who has a big grin and her eyes twinkling with excitement. She cases around the town, people walking from shop to shop, some couples holding each other with hot coffee cups acting all sweet and cute. Other with families, buying a Christmas tree for the upcoming holiday and parents watching their children play in a little playground with
the pumpkin patch. Everyone's faces looked joyful and filled with excitement, wait until loosely see is what it's like during the Christmas season, she would fall in love instantly.
"Welcome to town." I say, there wasn't A name for this place, so everyone calls it town or village, because it was so small that even Google maps couldn't even find this place, so only the locals know what this place was.
"What is this place?" she asks.
"It's somewhat a holiday town, it opens up the beginning of November all the way to the last day of January." I explain.
"It's amazing and so adorable!" She squeals and I laugh at her excitement. I grabbed her hand and follow Nana to the little playground where Greg and Denise were watching with baby Theo cuddled in his father's bright orange sweater similar to mine. Nana kissed his cheek to greet him and did the same for Denise and Theo.
Greg pulls out his hand waiting for me to shake it, I ignore his gesture and walk past him.
"So Nana, where to?" Denise asked her booty white coat zipped up to her chin.
"Well, this year, I wanted to split us up." She replies, her nose a bright pink color.
"Why?" Luce says.
"Because I have gift shopping to do as well as Denise."
"But if you two are shopping, what are we going to do?" I claim.
"You can take Luce around, show her a few shops, join a few activities; do anything. Greg is going to take care of Theo. Is that all right with everyone?" We all nod, "good, meet back here in a couple of hours."
We all split up, Luce with me, Nana with Denise, and Greg with Theo.
"OK Niall, what should we do first?" Luce asks me.
I shrug when an idea comes to mind, I smirk, "We could go and make out behind one of these buildings to pass time." She smacks my chest in shock, "hey I'm just kidding!" Then I lean in towards her ear, my lips barely touching her skin, "unless you want to."
"Niall!" She shrieks using her fist to punch my arm.
"Okay, okay I'm sorry." I catch her wrist to stop her from hitting me any further, "how about we look through a couple of stores okay?" She nods, I hold her hand when she tangled her fingers with mine, I just hope nothing bad happens today.
