The whole week went by in a flash, now suddenly it was Friday, Luce's birthday. Me and the boys have been planning this party for weeks, not much people will be there, just Nana, the boys, me, Perrie and Eleanor. But of course Nana invited Greg and Denise over as well, which is great since Luce loves Theo, I'm just worried about how I will be able to handle it.

With Nana's help, I woke up early to make breakfast for Luce. I check the plate that has been piled high with warm buttermilk pancakes with sweet maple syrup on the side along with butter, on another plate sat cheesy scrambled eggs just out of the pan; beside it three thick meaty, juicy and crisp bacon slices. I also placed another small plate with two slices of wheat toast with strawberry jam. I grab a cup and fill it with apple juice grinning at myself, knowing how much apples were her favorite fruit.

I arrange the tray neatly, tucking a napkin under the fork and knife, also added one fake red rose. I thank Nana for helping me with the food and cautiously take the tray full of food up the stairs and into her bedroom.

"Luce?" I whisper softly, closing the door with my foot. She stirs, blinking a couple times before fully opening hr eyes.

"Niall?" She groans.

"Happy Birthday Angel." She sits up and eyes the tray full of goods I places in front of her view.

"Wow, did you make this all for me, or did Nana help you?" She motions me to lay next to her, I oblige, tucking my feet under the blankets, she cuddle into me in a comfortable position.

"I'll have you know that Nana only pulled out the ingredients, I did the rest by myself."

"You didn't have to do this for me."

"It's your birthday, I wanted to make sure it was a special day for you." She leans in and kisses my cheek.

"I'm liking it already." She moves her lips onto mine, I kiss her back but pull away before it got heated.

"As much as I want to kiss you, your breakfast is getting cold and we have to be at the school in exactly an hour and fifteen minutes." She pouts, but I kiss her cheek to wipe away the frown. She then takes some toast, hands it to me.

All I can say was that morning consisted of warm delicious food, smeared syrup on skin, and a lot of kisses in between.

Throughout the whole school day, Luce couldn't stop smiling every we knew greeted her in the hallway along with a happy birthday; even Gina came up to Luce and congratulated her. I guess she's trying to prove that sh isn't such a mean girl after all.

When the bell rang for break, I took a trip to my locker to pack a few things before I can meet up with Luce for out little date. I slam the locker shut, I turn around but Luce was already waiting for me. She grins and her eyes filled with glee, then I notice something she's holding in her arms. A bouquet of lilies?!

"Hey Angel." I say.

"Hi, thanks for the lilies, they're so beautiful." I frown in confusion. "But I don't understand why you put anonymous."

"Uh, right..." I zone out as we walk out to my car earning a few "Happy Holidays!" or "Merry Christmas!" from some other peers. I didn't give Luce those flowers. My blood was boiling at the thought of some other guy buying some crappy lilies, when she deserves roses, its giving me a headache.

"What are we doing?" her voice disrupts my thoughts.

"Uh, you'll see."

I take her to a cafe, where they serve little desserts and coffee, and I'll tell you the coffee, is amazing, even plain would taste very good.

We walk into the cafe and smell coffee beans fill up our noses.
