***Kunal's P.O.V***

I blinked my eyes open, feeling completely refreshed and looked around. The room was still a bit dark even though a weak light filled the room - probably just the break of dawn judging by the weak morning light outside the window and the sound of birds chirping.

Stifling a yawn, I suddenly realized that my whole body felt heavy and the muscles of my legs felt extremely sore... like jelly! Squinting, I looked around to find Shruthi's sleeping form right next to my bed, with her head on my bed but her body on the floor - poor girl must have slept looking up at me, and yet she says she doesn't have any feelings for me!!

I removed the IV that was still connected to my veins and tried to get out of the bed so that I could at-least put her to bed, but my legs felt so sore that I let out an involuntary grunt as I tried moving my right leg, which obviously woke up Hitler madam.

Shruthi almost jumped to her feet, blushing scarlet at being caught looking-out for me, but I didn't want to embarrass her even more, so I didn't comment on her blushing but said "Sorry to wake you up, but could you help me out?"

"Right. What help do you need?" she asked, trying to act cool, but the panic and care for me was evident in her caramel orbs.

"First off, could you help me sit straight?! My muscles are...all sore" I grunted as I tried to move my legs.

"Right" she said and moved forward and held my upper body in a tight grip, probably thinking that my whole body is sore.

Now being the good guy that I am, I should take advantage of the situation right?!

Barely controlling my smirk, I put my arms around Shruthi's waist and turned, so that I got on top of a very confused and shocked looking Shruthi who was under me on the bed.

"Pain... what?! How?! You?!" she stuttered a string of words, looking at me with eyes as wide as saucers.

"Ek moment romance ki keemat tum kya jaano Shruthi babu?! Har mard ka khwab hota hai ek moment of romance" I said, looking deep into her eyes.

Although her beautiful lips twitched into a smile, she quickly changed her expression only to glower at me. Reading her mind, I held her hands in a tight grip and put them above her head as I looked intently at her now shocked face.

"You're really going to act like you don't give a squat about me?! You spent the whole of last night sitting here and waiting to see how I am and caring for me... you looked like you'd had diced a dozen onions or something with those red puffy eyes of your's when I'd finally woken up yesterday after fainting in your arms, and you're now trying to act indifferent?!" I asked, gazing into her caramel orbs - one of the best features I love about her, second only to her beautiful smile!

"I... I'll get you some breakfast and then you can leave to your place... else your grandfather might start worrying" she said, not meeting my gaze, her pretty face hardened as her eyes reflected the pain I'd made her go-through.

"I'm sorry for the past... I truly am... please give me one chance to change it" I begged, looking deep into her eyes.

Should I feel happy or sad that even though I'd let go off her hand, she didn't push me off of her, but neither did she hold me back as I cupped her face?!

"I still love you Shruthi.... You were the only girl who ever made me feel something... I truly love you and have always loved you.. I'll talk to dada-ji and we can get married and start afresh... We'll get back on all the time we've lost, start a new family.... I own a penthouse and we'll live there... just us - you and me... we'll become husband and wife, have kids, grow old together... just one chance Shruthi... I've seen what life is without you and it sucks... I want you back... please?! My dada-ji will have to listen to me... I'll talk to him" I said, looking intently at her and meaning every word I spoke.
