I was woken to a set of whispers and footsteps. Jackson and October shined under the rays of light. "Look what we have here," Jackson and October both had a terrifying smile on their faces.

I sat up with a yawn, "get your mind out of the gutter, Jackson." Mason sat up and stared at Jackson wide eyed.

"So I finally get to meet the young lady you were with at the ball," Mason seemed excited to meet October but if he knew about her talents he would fear her.

"Kat may I please have a word with you?" Jackson asked, extending his hand.

"Yes, Jackson," I said hopping up onto my feet and ignoring him. We walk over behind a few trees as Mason and October start talking to each other.

"Sooo, why are you and my brother snuggling in the woods," I rolled my eyes surprised that the first place his mind went wasn't the same as Octobers.

"After I dropped Ash," calling him that was now more of a reflex and I realized how much strength it took not to call him that, "at Noah's house we got out of there as fast as we could."

"I don't blame you," he spoke with a laugh, "but that doesn't explain anything important."

"We went for a walk," I shrug, "I tripped and fell and he joined me. I guess we just felt so safe we fell asleep," the whole time I spoke I didn't realize that I was smiling. "Now what are you and October doing?"

"We always meet up in the woods," the thought of the two most devil like people spending their time in the woods together sent me into a laughing fit. "Shut up," he said rolling his eyes.

"If you tell Noah I will break your spine."

"You always threaten but never act," He said holding his head high. "Well it looks like I should leave you two alone for awhile," he said as I walked back to Mason and we made our way back to the palace before anyone could notice we left.
