I follow Julian into the house, immediately admiring the interior. As soon as you walk in, the walls are a dark tile that matches the mirror that hung directly to your right. There was a silver chandelier that hung above you to light up the foyer, giving it a yellow tone that instantly woke you up once you step foot in the house. On the wall on the left was a set of white stairs that led to the second floor to whatever was up there.
I turned to Julian when he set his hand on my shoulder. "Do you want a tour?"
I nod my head, extremely curious as to what the rest of the rooms in this house looks like. "That would be great."
He chuckles, moving down the hallway while Jonah went up the stairs, probably to give us some privacy. When we walk through the arch that ended the hallway, we step into the living room and kitchen area. On the right of the room was the living room portion that had beautiful large gray couches that I just wanted to curl up on because of how soft they looked. They stood on a white fluffy rug that was laid over dark wooden floors that were so clean that it didn't look like anyone even lived here
On the wall on the far side of the living room was a large TV hanging on the wall, which had a little symbol on the bottom right corner that said Impression. I immediately realized that all the tech things in this house were probably stuff from Julian's company. The wall where the TV hung was painted a darker gray than the rest. Next to the accent wall was a wall lined with just windows that made the room seem bigger than it actually was. The coffee table was white with a small plant on it along with magazines and books that were probably hardly read. I turn towards Julian, who was setting his jacket on the kitchen counter.
"This is beautiful," I tell him with amazement in my eyes. He chuckles before moving over to lean against the counter in the kitchen that was beautiful.
"Thank you, I had an interior designer help me when I first moved in, so trust me, this wasn't all me. I just picked the color scheme and that was about it," he tells me as I walk over to the kitchen to admire it. The floor transitioned into a light wood that really made the whole room pop. The cabinets were a medium gray while the counters were a white marble along with the island that sat in the middle of the room. There was a tablet hanging on the wall that had a bunch of different buttons labeled random things and I just moved past that since technology wasn't something I was the greatest with.
I noticed the steak sitting on the counter, probably to defrost. I look up at him with wonder, motioning to the pieces of meat sitting in front of us. "Steak?"
"Yeah, I hope that's okay. I was thinking we could make some veggies with it if you want," he says and I nod my head, super excited for what was to come. He motions for me to follow him and we walk through the arch that was next to the kitchen and went into the dining room that had a huge black table sitting in the middle of the room. It was accompanied with white cloth chairs that were a lighter white than the rug that laid under the table. On the left wall was a huge abstract painting that brought color to the whole room and underneath that was a little table that was filled with different types of alcohol.
I followed him through to the next room that was an office that had a huge fish tank on the left wall when you walked in. I noticed all the different types of fish that were swimming around and I smiled at the sight. In front of me was a dark brown desk that had a white office chair sitting behind it. Behind the desk were shelves with different pictures and awards sitting on top alongside some other random nicknacks.
On the right side of the room was a bunch of bookcases that held hundreds of books that were all mixed together, different sizes and colors, bringing a fun element to the room. There were some random nicknacks also laying in front of some books and I chuckled, loving how everything was in order. I noticed that the entire house was like this, everything had a place and was probably never moved from it.
