Part 3 💜

Dianne's Pov: It was the morning of the reunion so I got up and had shower and put on some natural make up as I waited for Amy to come and collect her boots. I made myself some toast and then my phone started pinged, it was Amy

A - Hey Di, I'm here now, just going to come up 💓

I put the kettle on as a thought Amy would like a cup of tea. She came in and we sat down in front of the TV with out cups of tea. We had a great catch up and talked about out "Here Come The Girls Tour" and the we both out our cups down to go and get the boots for Amy and show her my outfit for tonight. As I put my cup down I noticed the box with the necklace from Joe in it that I had left their last night, it startled me and changed my mood a little bit I was hoping Amy wouldn't notice anything.

D - Are these okay? Will they go with your dress?
A - They're perfect! Thank you so much!
D - Don't worry about it
A - Let's see your outfit then!
D - Okay

I was a bit wary of showing Amy my outfit because although I loved it, it made think of Joe even more than I was right now, how ever I still showed it but went a bit quiet and showed her pretty quickly

A - That's stunning Di, you're going to look insane! As always
D - Aw thanks Amy, so will you!

I couldn't get Joe out of my head and Amy could tell.

A - You okay Di, you've gone awfully quiet?
D - Yeah, just got a few things in my mind but I'll back to my normal self before tonight

I tell Amy that I'll be back to my normal self before tonight but I don't know if I will if I'm seeing Joe tonight..  We go back to the sofa and as we sit down the box stands out to me again and I can't help but stare at it, blocking Amy out and just thinking about everything to do with it and everything that happened with Joe

A - Di, earth to Dianne! Hellooooo

I heard Amy and came back into the moment and Amy caught me staring and realised it was at the box I was staring. She picked it up to see if I would look at her or stop staring into space

A - What is this? You've been wary of it all day
D - It's nothing, just something I found yesterday
A - It's got to be something! You wouldn't be staring at it all day if it was just something you found
D - Ummmm..... well it's umm....
A - Come On Di, spit it out, you can tell me anything
D - Okay fine, it's a necklace from Joe that I found in the bottom of one of my drawers. I never knew he left anything anywhere
A - Wait, what!?
D - Yeah I know, I was cleaning through everything after a was looking for your boots and it was hidden underneath everything in my drawer
A - Can I have a look?
D - Yeah sure, I don't what to do about it. Do I speak to him about tonight? Do I keep it, Do I throw it away? Do I wear it tonight? Do I take it with me?

I carried on asking Amy what to do, meanwhile she was just staring at it not knowing what I should do either. We talk a little bit more and it really helped. I hadn't spoken about Joe to anyone really since it all happened but it was nice to just let it all out and have my best friend listen and help me too.

A - Right, I better get going. Phone me before you leave if you need anything else, okay?
D - Will do. Thank you for everything today
A - Like I said, I'm always here for you
D - Same for you
A - Now about the necklace, you could take it with you in your bag and if you feel comfortable talking to him tonight and things go okay, you could maybe bring it up?
D - I was thinking that but I don't want to bring it all back up again
A - Well only do it if you feel like it's okay too
D - Okay, I'm going to go get ready and have a think. I'll see you later, Thank You
A - Me too, thank you for the boots and I'll see you later
D - Thank You, Byeeee
A - See you later
